I attended the ball on Friday. It was an interesting experience. I remember the parties that Gambino used to have before his fall. I must say, Gambino creeps me out, he's huger then huge, but it seems like despite his arrogence, he actually cared that his guests had a good time. The Von Helson sisters however, don't even pretend to care. I felt like the whole party was merely to goad Gambino, and further some secret plots of theirs.
The drama aside, the mansion was a thing unto itself. Those sisters, they ransacked the whole place, turning it into a shrine to themselves. They.... they completely destroyed the library, which causes me untold anguish. I did a little work to help restore it, but ultimatly got caught up in the drama. I was really tempted to steal some of those rats clothes that they left scattered all over one of the spires.
I'm intrugued to see how this whole event will play itself out. Gambino agreed to run away and never return, but he threatened that it wasn't over. Makes me think of that movie Molly likes to watch, what is it? Ah, The Lion King. The uncle lion told the young one, Simba, to run away and never return, then went and ruled over the lions with an iron paw. Simba returned of course and overthrew him anyways though.
Well, I returned home from the party with many souvineirs, which now litter my room. I got three ballons, two hats and a complete V-Pin. I was hoping to run into Gambino, because I hear he was giving out left over G-Pins from the last Anniversary party. I guess I'll have to save up and buy one in the market place. Whatever, either I'll get one or I wont. I'm a little miffed though, cause I'd wanted one anyways, before the ball, becuase I'm an event items pack rat, but now that everyone has jumped on the "I Support Gambino" bandwagon, they're really popular and the prices are sky-rocketing.
I must cease my writing for now. I'll keep you posted on the event around here as they unfold and as I see them.
