I must say, recent events in Gaia are making my giggle. After the Anniversary ball, Gambino disapeared. He returned a few weeks later in front of the rubble of his former mansion, claiming he "needed a new start and would you be so kind as to donate to me?" I gave him maybe 200 gold, which was a miniscule donation compared to what others donated to him.
His donation drive went on for weeks it seemed. And ever day, his tower -- for that's what he was building, not merely a mansion, but a tower -- grew taller and taller. Eventually it got so tall that it could be seen from everywhere in known Gaia. One day however, reports came that Gambino himself, who was sanding on the top, had been shot! The tower collapsed shortly there after, falling all the way to Durem, where it landed on and smashed the Von Helson mansion. And now, after all the dust has cleared, there are two Gambino mansions -- one in it's original location, and one on top of the Von Helson plot.
Heh, I have no idea what may happen next, but honestly, my only concern is that Gino, Gambino's son, is unharmed and somewhere safe. He has nothing to to with the power stuggles of Gambino and the Von Helsons. I've heard some rumors on the street that a large birthday party is going to be held for Gino on the 13th, which will be his 17th birthday. It makes me wonder why Gambino called his Halloween bash a birthday event for Gino...
Gah, that is enough of that. When I focus too much on the event of these people, I feel silly and superficial. Molly says she feels much the same way when she ever actually bothers to follow the lives of the celebrities in her world.
Oh! Joyous news! The powers that be in Gaia have just released some wonderful new things: butterfly wings! They're removable and inerchangeable in their wearability, and they actually grant the power of flight. I adore them! Even though I have a powerful flying spell, I've always craved wings, real wings, and these new butterfly ones are so close!
Anyway, this is enough out of me for today. While I am a night owl, and so thus not incoherent in the wee hours, I have said all I can really think of to say. Aside from a note that the guild is again in a state of failing, I've said todays piece. Goodnight. heart
