reading through all my past journal entries makes me giggle. I like to consider myself better and the drama we get around here, but I follow it avidly anyway.
There are a few things I feel like I must mention that I forgot to write about when they happened.
Firstly, and most importantly, Ian lives. He survived the sniper and made a full recovery. He and Gino has a 'fight' over Sasha, but it was interrupted by Labtech X, who injected Gino with that serum which G-Corp is so obsessed with. This caused a reaction to occur which reveled that Gino has in fact been a Gino/Johnny hybrid ever since the tower collapsed, which is the only reason he survived at all. So now, Gino and Johnny are separate again thank gods) and Gino's aggressive behavior is explained.
Aliens came to Gaia, and left again, and I missed most of that. I was on vacation in other realms. During this, Santa and a cow accidentally got their brains swapped, and neither Cow Santa, or Santa Cow have been seen since.
The summer saw a massive water fight between the four towns of Gaia: Barton, Durem, Gambino, and Aekea. I enjoyed that a great deal, fighting valiantly on the side of Barton of course, though I actually can't remember who won. I think it was Durem.
The Von Helson sisters showed up again, and their father Vladimir finally made his appearance, and it turns out that they are all vampires. What is more, Ian, my beloved beautiful Ian, is in fact Vladimir's eldest son. Ian's full name is Damian and he has a younger brother named Louie; their mother is also Gino's mother, and the Von Helson sisters are Vladimir's children by another woman. Thus all in all, Ian, Louie, Gino, and the Von Helson brats are all siblings one way or another. Except for Gino, they are all vampires too. Craziness!
Apparently, after Ian escaped his father, he has been under the care of Edmund, and through him, Gambino, though Gambino's hospitality has always been grudging. (Considering that Ian is the son of the vampire who killed his wife, who was Gambino's wife for a while, well, that makes sense.) Anyway, Edmund has been helping Ian control his vampiric nature for quite some time now, and they finally had a breakthrough and created a cure. Halloween involved a great deal of vampiric fun for all, with people getting turned and cured back and forth for days.
Whether Ian has taken the cure or not, I'm not sure. He has been reunited with his brother though, and Edmund killed Vladimir. Moira got wrapped up in it all, because she and Louie are having a flirt-fest, and so far as I know, all three are still vampires. The repercussions remain to be seen. (The selfish part of myself hopes that these events will allow Ian to move on from Sasha. A nice girl she may be, but she is also a shallow one, and unworthy of Ian.)
Damian Von Helson. I am still coming to terms with that name. He will always be Ian to me (unless, of course, he asks otherwise).
