Random, Made Up Story Part 3
The two traveled through the brush, making their way past trees, spiders of huge proportions, even plants of various colors, shapes and sizes. Soon enough, the sound of rushing water reached Amelia's ears and she smiled. She ran up ahead past Derek, the ground becoming softer and the vegetation more vivid then before. The sight of crystal water met her eyes as she came out of the brush. The air flowed more fluently then when she was hidden in the trees. The water was music to her ears as she sat at the edge. Derek was far back in the overgrowth and she knew it because if he was near, she would hear him. But, although she couldn't hear him, she could hear someone else. Someone on the other side of the river. She looked across the vast rushing water and studied the trees and bushes that grew there. Silence was all she could hear, until a bush moved suddenly. Her hand went straight to her knife as someone crawled out. It was a boy around her age, with messy hair and tattered clothes. She looked at him curiously as he looked around nervously, as if trying to find his way. From what she could tell, he seemed lost. "Excuse me, are you alright?" she called over the sound of the water. The boy jumped at her voice as he realized she was there then his eyes grew wide as his face went red. He didn't seem to respond or move for that matter. "It's ok, I'm not going to hurt you or anything." Amelia said as she stood up, trying to calm him down. He looked at her nervously then let out a sigh. "I'm sorry. It's just...I'm trying to get away from my house and I thought that whoever had spoken was someone trying to get me to come back..." he said. Amelia looked at him a bit curious about his explanation. "Well, I'm only traveling so there is no way I cou-" she stopped mid-sentence when finally realizing it. She was talking to someone across the river. Someone in a completely different country. Someone who was part of the country her own hated. She looked into the depths of the river nervously. Hey seemed nice. He didn't seem like someone who was going to kill you when he got the chance. Amelia looked up suddenly at the sound of someone moving through the trees and saw that the boy was gone and Derek was at her side. His sword was drawn. "What's wrong?" he asked sternly. She looked up at him before standing up and shaking her head. "Nothing...I'm fine." she said as she took one last look across the river then started her journey upriver.

Part 3 is finally up! I realize no one's really reading this now...but I don't care! I will write as much of this even if it kills me!! twisted (not really I'm not that into it yet wink ) please, PLEASE comment and tell me what you think!!
