Random, Made Up Story Part 2
Amelia woke up suddenly in the small forest her guardian and her had chosen to stay. She sat up slowly and looked around. The trees were dark and clouded out the bright blue sky with their many leaves. The small creatures in the same vicinity were all up and around, doing this and that for themselves and their families. Amelia loved watching the small animals gather food and all, especially in the morning when some of them may be too tired and fall over from the amount of work ahead of them that day. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and stood up, straightening out her traveling clothes as she did. Whenever staying out in the wilderness like this, she usually wore her canvas top and pants, as well as her knife at her belt and a pair of leather shoes. She ran her fingers through her golden-brown hair and looked around for her guardian. "Derek?" she called, hoping he was still nearby. There had been a time when he had actually left her behind because she had slept in too late. But, hopefully, she had gotten up at a decent time this time. A man soon stepped out in front of her from a tight cluster of trees and smiled at her. "Morning sleepy head." he said. He was in his castle armor as usual with it's worn out patches and symbols. His sword hung at his side which he grazed over lightly with his fingers before running his fingers through his dark brown hair. Amelia smiled and stretched. "Where to today?" she asked. Derek didn't reply so suddenly for he was taking in his surroundings. He usually did this when he thought someone was near. Most of the time, though, no one would be. "Well, we're probably going to keep going upriver." he replied and looked at her. She nodded and smiled cheerfully. It was fun going along the river, for just on the other side lay a land her people hated. But, to her, it seemed like some other place, unknown to her side for her people could never get past the hatred they felt towards the kingdom on that side. She looked off into the distance where the river was and sighed peacefully. "Well, we won't get anywhere if we stand around here!" she said and started walking off towards the long, wide river. Derek smiled and nodded. "Of course...princess..." he whispered and soon followed along behind her. As they walked, Amelia looked back at him. "I had that dream again! I don't know why, but whenever we go upriver, the night before, I will have that dream." she said, which was true. Before they headed upriver, she would always have that dream. That dream was the memory she remembered most, when her people had attacked her kingdom. Derek had saved her that night and she was thankful for that. Now, she still didn't know where they were really heading off to, but he was still by her side.

Well here is part 2! please read this story and comment! I want to know what other people think about it!!!
