Chapter 4

Connor’s POV:
A sudden rush of blood rushed through my veins, my arms tensed. Suddenly my thirst for blood craved through my veins, a hunter was near. My senses for this kind of stuff were unheard off by my kind. Wolves drew close true. I could smell them around 2miles from the village.

Amanda’s POV:

I walked into the class room, I glanced at Connor. He was sat starring out the window at the rain drops running down the window, I sighed and sat down beside him. He must be sick of school by now. He’s been alive for 160 years now and has been in school for 177. I don’t really blame him. “Hey…” I spoke in a low tone with my head hung low. “Oh hey, sorry didn’t see you…” He slowly turned to face me as he spoke. Just as I thought, he didn’t even catch my scent, he must have been deep in thought…Or confusion.

??? POV:

I slowly turned back into my human form as we gained closer to the village. “Hey Foxie isn’t this land claimed by Vampire’s…” I hissed at Lexi, so what Vampires? No big deal. I’ll rip them apart if I have too. It’s the last place we can go now. I noticed that Lexi’s pace had slowed and pressed on faster “Keep up!”

Hannah’s POV:

I glared across the room at Connor, his body language was unusual, he could sense it to huh? We knew that there was a hunter after him but to target him so early, in front of others. Was it that if he didn’t complete his assignment the other humans would know of our existence?
The bell rang as the rain crashed against the window Connor sat in despair, what was to come. Connor seemed to have dragged his bag up from the floor and a flung it over his shoulder standing upright in second’s. I watched as he walked out of the class room. Don’t do it Connor, please, My thoughts clouded my head as I tailed him.

Connor’s POV:

I ran up the steps to the roof, knowing this hunter was there I smashed the door open and looked around and heard a voice from behind me. “Bravo bravo, time to die vampire!” The barrel of his gun starred right into my eyes as they turned red, the blood rushed through my body and I appeared in front of him and grabbed his hand which was holding the gun. “Who sent you?!?!” I yelled as loud as I could without other hearing me.
“Why would I tell you?”
“Because it’s that or you die, by the very creature you hunt!”
“Life, death all one thing”
“Fine, have it your way”
I kicked his leg making him fall to his knees and snapped his wrist letting the gun drop with a shot as it pounded against the ground.

Hannah’s POV:

“Connor! Stop!” I ran towards him where he had the hunter kneeling at his very grasp. “Why should I?” the instinct to kill clouded Connor’s voice, it was in his blood. He was a stone cold killer. He didn’t seem like it. He draws people in. He’s a very seductive type. I looked down to the gun and heard the hunter cry out “Please don’t!” Connors pupils grew smaller and he yelled out “Shut up!!!” she kicked the hunter the ground and stood on his neck snapping it in more than likely 3 places. “Why!” I screamed out and stumbled back. I know I’m the newest of our kind but why so cruel. “It was me or him, be thankful I wasn’t thirsty, he pushed passed me and I sensed the guilt in his heart digging deep into him.
