Connor’s POV:
I walked Mandi home around 10 just to be on the safe side from Hunter’s in the area, I kissed her cheek and said goodnight to her and jumped up onto her house roof and hopped in through her window. She walked and had a confused look on her face “Connor, how come you wanted to come back early?”

“Just to be on the safe side don’t worry about it, oh the others will be here soon to.”
“Ah, okay just don’t go making it obvious that you’re here, my mom will kill me”
“Haha we won’t”
We lay on the bed together waiting for the others, Mandi seemed to have fallen asleep with arm over my chest cuddling into me, I silently wrapped a blanket around her and lay silently stroking her hair. The night dragged on and I began to wonder if the others were even coming.

Julia’s POV:
I strayed into Kai’s room looking for her; she knew we were meant to meet Connor at Mandi’s, where could she be? I dashed up the stairs to the roof and found her sitting there gazing out at the stars I called her from the door “Hey! Kai we gotta go meet Connor!”
“Yeah yeah, I’m coming”
“Well hurry up will ya!”

I watched her as she drew herself to her feet and wondered over me. We made our way to Mandi’s and hopped through the window.

Connor’s POV:
I watched as Julia and Kai eventually arrived. “Hey guys gotta be quiet Mandi fell asleep” I lifted myself out from underneath Mandi and left her to rest. “Simple minded humans” Kai seemed to have an aggressive tone for some reason. I looked at her and sighed. “Kai you don’t have to be so mean you know.” Julia seemed like her cheery self. At least someone was happy, I suppose.

Kai’s POV:
I watched the human sleep, I should call her by her name but who cares it’s all the same to me. To them were horrible creatures they want to kill yet Connor has the nerve to be with one of them. “Connor why are we here, you know I hate humans” I spoke in an angered tone but quietly not to wake HER. “Kai whether you like it or not she knows about us and she’s trustworthy, you know it.” Stupid fool…He’s infuriating me. I jumped out the window without saying a word, Julia just stood there, my own sister abandoned me just like that.
