It was quiet afternoon. one where Keritzel could take the time, to pause and smell the flowers. He smiled happily wandering through the streets of town, his elf-like ears twitched at most every sound that passed through them. It was a good day today that was for sure. A butterfly flew past him catching his attention. Keritzel's moss green orbs followed its flight pattern as it landed upon a lone daisy in the grass. Slowly he steered himself off of the pavement and towards the the butterfly, drawn to it's hues of blue and green. However as he positioned himself next to it, it took flight again, leaving him alone on the grass. He pouted, saddened by the inability to make friends with the butterfly, but he continued to watch it fly away.

"At least it is free..." he thought to himself, waving goodbye the the insect. As soon as it was out of sight he spread himself upon the floor of grass and stared at the sky. The wind flowed though his silver and rainbow strands making them fall to the front of his face. The strands tickled his nose, making him sneeze. He laughed and blew the strands out of his face. Holding a hand out infront of him he began to inspect it. He wasn't exactly sure why, but thats what he did. His vision soon stopped focusing on his hand and foocused back to the sky. the sky and the puffs of white clouds that floated here and there. He pointed to each of the clouds, calling out what each looked like.

"That one looks like a giraffe, and that a kitty, and that...." He went on and on until he couldn't find anymore to name, so he settled for just laying there and relaxing. A strange sight to passers by. A grown man putting on a display of a five year old. However keritzel did not know this. This was who he was. A simple, carefree, and happy person.
