Ha ha - I have brilliant friends. Now, I generally don't go around bashing the government, no matter how stupid parts of it might be, because that seems like it does little good - if you want something different, go DO something about it, don't just complain about it. However, I did get a good laugh out of the political views of one of my friends...
1) If pro is the opposite of con, what's the opposite of progress?
2) In Latin, "poli" means many and "tics" refers to small, bloodsucking creatures. So the real meaning of politics? Many bloodsucking animals.
3) If you DIDN'T VOTE, you CAN'T COMPLAIN.
Ah. Yes, I am nerdy enough to find that hilarious. Bite me.

Lately I've kind of been slowly coming to the strange realization that my life really is bizarre...but not in big cosmic ways. It's on a much smaller scale - the tricks are all smoke and mirrors.
