St. Valentine's?
Like the subject states, it is Valentine's day or Singles awareness day for all those, like myself, who find themselves without someone to share with. Saint Valentine...SAINT. Saint=catholic, catholic=no sex unless you are married and a good portion of valentines are not. Moreover, Cupid is a pagan myth so every pope ever is currently rolling in their graves right now. I find myself laughing at this, but then again I find myself giving a portion of my cold cynical heart to all those lovers out there who, quite frankly, don't give a damn if Cupid is pagan or not. They are the lucky ones...who may have found that special someone without having to go through Hell and back as it seems I have gone. My friend is having his first ever non-single Valentine's day and I hope he has many more. I am now spending my 17th consecutive one alone, last year did not count we barely knew each other. So, to him and all others who are sitting in a lovers' paradise, I bid thee well.
