Sora ran through the sand easily, trying to catch up with his friends. It wasn't that he was really so concerned with racing. He just didn't want them to leave him behind. After all, it wasn't so often that Riku really mustered up the motivation to come up with some sort of surprise. He wasn't really that patient and just spat it out without bother. So this would be interesting, to say the least. That, and it would be really boring if he just stood at the dock while Riku and Kairi went wherever. Sora would have probably looked really dumb.
He moved a lot faster, though, when he saw Kairi trip ahead. "Kairi!" It didn't really look like that terrible of a fall. But everyone who knew Sora knew that wouldn't really matter to him. He was just protective of his friends. Yeah...that was pretty much everyone. But especially Kairi and Riku! The brunet ran up to his red head friend and stopped. He held his hand out to her again but she didn't seem to need it. "You ok?" He asked, slightly entertained that she was so worried about who was first.
He held his hand behind his head and walked the way right next to her. They could finish together.
They both walked up to Riku, and for a second, things felt a lot like before. Before all the heartless and nobodies got involved in their lives, both Sora and Kairi usually depending on Riku to come up with stuff to do. He was good at that. But Sora wondered just what he had planned for today. "So...what's up, Riku?" He asked.
