I wish that somehow,
You love me more than anything,
Instead of how you feel now.
I know you did,
For a little while in time.
That you loved me completely,
That, that happiness was mine.
It's been a dream,
Being loved by you,
Such a wonderful dream,
The love I once knew.
I feel myself in sadness
From not feeling your love,
Forlorn and forgotten,
I will always remember...
The love that was mine,
For a little while in time.
That it was something real,
For this sensitive heart of mine.
