When I first joined Gaia, I was amazed. It seemed to be a click generator. If site worth is calculated by number of clicks, Gaia certainly is worth a lot. Users are encouraged to click constantly and on every "landing site."
With the St. Patrick's Day event with Odanodan, holiday-themed keywords were a tool to get Odanodan to appear and grant you items. Users chanted these words as if they were spells. This continues into Easter, where supposed keywords are posted over and over in hopes of making eggs appear. This is superstition, but, what a powerful way to illustrate the suggestibility of mankind when dealing with his greed. I can more easily understand the formation of cults.
