To be there
To be warm
To be sighless
Not knowing the
Curse, the Cross
To cry "Father!"
To be baptized by a dove and a cousin, to be my less powerless
Guide; the mind, to not know your cross; to be warm
To look up from safety, to cry "Father!"
And then,
Eighteen
Years Later,
To look up,
To be stoned,
To be stabbed,
To be hated,
To have looked
Up and cried,
To have been
Denied by the
One who you
Only fully
Understood
To look up
Eighteen
Years later
To Die.
To be warm
To be sighless
Not knowing the
Curse, the Cross
To cry "Father!"
To be baptized by a dove and a cousin, to be my less powerless
Guide; the mind, to not know your cross; to be warm
To look up from safety, to cry "Father!"
And then,
Eighteen
Years Later,
To look up,
To be stoned,
To be stabbed,
To be hated,
To have looked
Up and cried,
To have been
Denied by the
One who you
Only fully
Understood
To look up
Eighteen
Years later
To Die.
Eh. Doesn't say all it should; I need more concrete. Maybe later.
