About the Setting: (more to be added):
- Powers in this world are almost exclusively found in various objects known as "Curios".
- Curios don't necessarily have to be objects. They could be supernatural phenomena such as Blessings, Curses, or Souls. They could even be immaterial concepts such as Dreams, Love, or Scars (of the mental end emotional kind).
- Not just anyone is able to wield the powers of these items, unless you're a special kind of individual known as a Collector, you won't be able to tap into an item's potential.
- Each Collector is tied to a specific type of item, such as Alvin with Hats, Markus with Toys, Jasmine with Dreams, and Jasper with Curses.
- In some cases, you don't have to be a Collector of a specific type of item, or even a Collector at all, to use the powers of an item. However, it would only be just portion of said power.
- Only one person can be a Collector of a certain kind of item at a time. If a Collector were to either die or somehow lose their powers permanently, then a non-Collector somewhere will become a Collector in their place, unaware of their abilities until an event unique to their items comes to pass.
- No matter how hard a Collector tries to live a normal life despite their powers (and most of them had before they became Collectors), every once in a while, things tend to "happen" around them that will eventually domino into full on incidents, unless they're the kind of person who are likely to Instigate events through their own actions or Escapades.
- Ages ago, the world was once full of magic. Almost everyone was some level of Mage or Sorcerer or Wizard. However, the most powerful Mage at the time (the very person who would become the Wish Collector) saw all the chaos mankind has wrought with their power and "Collected" the desires of all non-magical beings on earth, manifesting it into a worldwide erasure of nearly all magic. The last remnants of such only being present in what were, at the time, considered mundane objects. The power of these objects would, over the passing ages, eventually evolve into the Curios that Collectors of the present day would use.
Additional Notes:
- I wound up getting an idea for some kind of setting involving some of my WG OC's after realizing a large part of each of their characters is that they "collect" things to some extent. Alvin has a lot of magic hats, Jasper gets a new curse almost every other day, Markus makes dolls and other toys for Matilda, and Jasmine just yoinks things straight out of people's dreams.
- Part of the inspiration for making this comes from Xiaolin Showdown as it has a similar premise centered around collecting magic items, is usually episodic (which helped me come up with the idea of Escapades), and has the habit of Shen Gong Wu changing hands every episode.
- I also drew some inspiration from Epithet Erased, where each character's ability is tied solely to a specific thing, what with each Collector being centered around a type of item. In Epithet's case, it's a single word and the meaning it carries.
- I'm also using this as an opportunity to sort of "reboot" my OC's since I've been away for so long after my account got hacked.

Collectors (working title)
This is just me imagining up a fictional world and a tabletop card game to go along with it. Still a work in progress. This just for fun as I have no plans on actually making a game, but who knows?
Currently: Phineas "Finn" Connelly, Clock Collector
With the help of magitek created by his alternate timeline self, Finn has secured a means of keeping Mira's core charged. Now without such urgency, the Pilot suggests that the two stay at his place until they can to return to their own world. After all the time-hopping, strict deadlines, his boss nearly killing him, and almost losing Mira, Finn could really use a break for once.
I'm making up a card game called Collectors. No actual plans on making it real, but who knows?
