((yep so, give me something on it. possibably will be my first book opening, though it stands a little more than a page long on it's own. should i add more, take away? this i do not know. ninja owell, hope you like))
"The things that will never come to pass are in front of us, waiting to be awaked…”
I never thought the words of my father had so much meaning, or would be, in fact, true at all, but it seems the riddle has now come true… The choices in front of us are all connected into a chain that balances the universe. One mistake of a man can alter its entire existence unless it is balanced by another cause. If not… this balance will crumble, and our worlds itself will ceased to exist.
We thought that if we could try to control this chain by wielding the powers of the universe this would never come to pass, but it seems that the hearts of men are not as predictable as we hoped. My time here is ending… the time of the dragon is ending. I fear now if there was ever a need of hope, hope id needed now to save humanity from its own madness…
His armies have covered the lands killing the innocent while his rage and lust for blood only grow as long as I sit on the thrown on Eristi. They have breached the wall, and they are coming to destroy me, as well as the rest of my kindred. My hope has failed in both my own and the race of men, though I know now that only the human’s that we have so long protected shall be are only hope. And in humans themselves shall come answers.
I once saw nine stars cycling the planate, as bright as flames before my eyes. It was here that the nine became the element wielders. But as death continued to pelage my eyes with malcontent, the nine shall soon become six. I fear our power is too few to stop this. There are too few of us now… too few of us.
But on the horizon I saw four stars, reaching through the darkness, and through their light the darkness receded. Are they men? Are they dragon? This I am not sure, but in four children my hope now lies.
The four are now far beyond my reach, a crossed the sea and through very time itself. When they shall come, I am unsure, but I know that one day they shall save us all.
