Do you know what your fate is? And are you trying to shake is?
A portal opened deep within the Castle Laboratories. Hood up, the old man stepped forwards cautiously. He spotted footprints in the fine layer of dust that lined the floor. After so long of his castle remaining unoccupied he would have surmised that someone would have come here with hopes of curiosity or perhaps looting. He sighed, looking around the empty book shelves of his study. Such memories...
His heart ached, remember seeing the faces of the men he had worked along side with for so many years. Roxas had long left his side, leaving the man to postulate over his next move. He required knowledge, and in theory, perhaps the answers were here. All the more, he was not sure wither or not he had the strength to come back and make his presence known. A philosopher King, a scientist- scorn and cast out by the ideals of a madman. Ansem's nostrils flared in a heavy sigh. Perhaps that was the deepest scar he carried within his Heart. Knowing that the trust of his people had been mutilated and disregarded carelessly. Being cast into the Realm of Darkness the first time, he had no idea of the horror they had suffered at the hands of 'Ansem', the Seeker of Darkness, in those days. His lips pressed inwardly, knowing there was nothing he could do about the past... All that remained was to move forwards.
Heading towards an opened door to the computer bay, he moved a hand across the glass guard railing, eyes scanning the power supply cores that lined a massive room below. The cores themselves powered the city, and looked for the most part untouched. He was relieved at least for that part.
Moving into the computer hub, he walked slowly, a black gloved hand moving across the massive keyboard. A nostalgic smile appeared under the black hood, before he leaned over keying in the list of seven names that he had long ago set up as passwords.
"Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Alice, Kairi," he said to himself, before quickly stroking the execute button.
PASSWORD INCORRECT_
Ansem blinked. Seeing three lines appear in front of him on screen. A sinking sense of horror started to sink into the back of his mind. 'Had Xehanort changed the password keys?' he thought to himself hands hanging over the keys with a sense of confusion. Three key words. Surely of all the things it could possibly be: Door To Darkness, Princesses of Heart - No. Xehanort would not have changed the pass codes to something so simplistic. Nor would he have. For all he had know the man, Heartless and Nobody alike had though him dead in those years. And between Xehanort and the others, there was no reason to change the pass codes. The six kept everything between themselves, and without castle workers to worry about overhearing their research keeping the names of the princesses would have made the most sense.
So what then? Had someone else come to terms with this place and figured it out? He paused, thinking long and hard. Someone had found this place and-
Then it hit him. A small smile on his face appeared. There were only three people he knew of of recent that would have been stubborn enough to find and discover this place. The three meddlers: "Sora, Donald, Goofy."
PASSWORD CORRECT. QUERY?_
"Command 8057, Voice recognition on screen," Ansem started, speaking clearly with a diction that the computer could easily recognize. He saw a window open up, a long thin white line in the center of the screen.
"Good to see you back Leon; All systems are normal to report currently. I didn't think you'd get in touch with me here. System appears normal on the city's central hub. Don't tell me Merlin's gone and broken the monitor system within his home again?" He saw the play back reading of words in the form of an audio scope. As the wave moved, his eyes softened. Thank the gods his old program was still safe.
"Greetings Program," Ansem started with a smile underneath his hood. "I know I've left you for what must feel like an infinite of cycles, but do you recognize the old voice of your creator?"
There was a long pause. "Ansem..." The tone seemed shocked, from the computer. Something he would not have expected, rather something of disdain or hatred. Tron's emotions could only ring true in his voice though. He had no function of hiding them within his programming. "You're still alive? .. I thought you had been-"
Ansem's eyes softened. "There will be a time for explanation later, my old friend. Right now, I need to ask you a favor. Execute the transfer, I need to speak with you face to face about finding whatever remains of my apprentice's old research."
Without another question, he heard the lazer behind him proceed to warming up. He moved to the center of the room, marked with a stationary pattern on the floor. Hands crossed behind his back, eyes closing with a calm expression on his face. The old man had never liked the feeling of the computer scanning in every particle of your being and transferring it into digital wave lengths that one could exist within the computer's mainframe. But he had done it, nearly hundreds of times over between this computer and the computer world he had created to Roxas in Twilight Town, the process seemed second nature by now. "Digitize. Engage."
You're doing your best and your best look You're praying that you make it...
