I still love you
but I'm having a hard time
finding a reason to.
But I'm sure you're starting
to feel the same way..

You leave me craving so much more
I don't know if you ever satisfy me.

I feel so withered wanting more
all I do is seem to make you sad.

Disappointment after let down
More sympathy than empathy.

You're always a safe distance from me
I always feel too close to home.

I'm sorry
you deserve better
someone less damaged
and faulty

I'm sorry you can't even disagree
and tell me you love me anyway.

That sometimes I drive you crazy
sometimes it's really annoying.
That my suffering breaks your heart,
but that just makes you want to stay.

I want you to hold me tight,
and hold all my pieces together.
That your love is the glue,
that will fix my broken heart.

But you don't.
I wish you did.

You probably don't even feel that way
likely don't even think that way.
And I'm just romanticizing..
being rescued from myself.

Love conquers all, remember?
I hoped it would conquer me.
But you have to,
