Well, ok, it wasn't really band camp, but I did go camping this weekend. As much as I love animals and nature, I could never live out in the wilderness. I missed my computer, technology, and most of all... RUNNING WATER. Yes, our camp site had no running water (except cold spring water to drink). We had an outhouse, but I would have rathered pee in the woods rather than in that gaggably gross "toilet". Really though, the park we went to was beautiful.
I love my PE teachers, I really do. Even before we got onto the bus, Ms. Blackwell fell over as she pulled her bag out of her car. xD Ah, and I can't forget Ms. Barardi with me and five other people playing Phase 10; she can't play cards well, and it was evident. "You pick up, and THEN discard!" That was repeated every time it was her turn. xD Oh! And Ms. Stevens and her Boston accent... and her snorting and choking when she laughs.
Yeah, it was tons of fun. It did kinda suck, though. It rained over the night and everyone's tent was pretty much water logged, as were most of our things. That was ok, though. We went white water rafting, too, and that was great. Our boat almost tipped over and two of my friends fell off. xD
Ah... yeah, but I was anxious to get home and use a toilet that flushed and take a nice, hot shower. And of course, go on Gaia. 3nodding
