the crew was caught rather off guard as the zombie-like pirates invaded, and no matter how many times they were struck by a blade they would not die. they would not bleed. they would only strike back with a vengance. capt. deep knew the reason: this was a crew that had already died. yet they were still living. such was the fate of the pirates who were loyal to two groups. it was unaccaeptable. if one was loyal to more than just a pirate group, then they would be cursed to go with the one they liked the least for whaever reson until they had proved they were worthy of death - true and real death. capt. deep had heard stories, but never thought any true. until now, that is. so how do you kill something already dead? simple - you dont. you just keep them from killing you. capt. deep informed her crew of her plans, and she made sure they were set into action. the boy had to be kept safe. she knew they were after him for some reason - a reason unknown to her. she had to bring him to his senses. how? she shook him, talked to him, even beat his head once or twice only realizing this would keep him down longer. the dead pirates found her with the boy, and they seemed to finally show some sort of emotion. rage. the boy belonged to them, and he was in the arms of a stranger pirate. capt deep couldn't fight dozens of them at once. so what would she do? her answer came when the boy awoke in her arms.
