Today is my seriously start to get ready for school day. I have been working on getting on a good schedule. I got up at ten A.M. That may not sound like much, but given that I went to bed at six A.M. I think it shows serious effort!

I don't have a new book bag yet but I have put the money aside to get one. I need some new clothes, I am pretty sure as nothing has been replaced since last year and it is all looking like I used it to do yardwork in, because I did. I have a scientific calculator, but I need pencils and I know I need some other stuff - graph paper, for certain.

Today for chores I did the cat pans, ran the dishwasher last night - at about three A.M. and unloaded it this morning. I hauled the dodgy vegetables out of the fridge so they might get cooked today. I did two batches of laundry, not counting emptying my brubber's stuff out of the dryer which was there because I washed it last week. I changed my sheets. I scrounged up jeans for my Dad and my sister at the same time as I did my own as I only have two pairs of jeans so there was room in my dark batch. I did the same with my light batch, so they should have underwear too. I heated up a tin of beans for my brubber, but we shared them and he played my Minecraft for me while I did it so my tree plantation got harvested.

I know I did something else useful, but what was it...? I also took a big stack of dishes up from beside their computer - It was two stacks really, I had to bring it up in the laundry basket. I played with the cat which sort of counts because I only did it because he was begging for attention so I carried him around the house and put him up on shelves up high that he couldn't reach on his own to make life interesting for him. He liked that.

Da cooked us some chicken for dinner. It needed to be cooked too so that was good, because now we won't have manky chicken in the fridge.

Most of the day was spent on line talking to my friend about the story we are working on, hanging out on Gaia, and playing Minecraft.

I need to do a bunch of review - I want to go over my French and my music and since I will probably be doing dance again, I should do the exercises. Of course I dance like a thunder chicken. I am totally without grace and don't even make it into the chorus when we are doing performances so if anyone reads this I don't want them to think I can actually dance. I can't. And I haven't done the exercises all summer so I will be worse than usual at them.

I also want to work on reviewing some math as this year I am supposed to be doing harder stuff. I was supposed to be doing math in summer school, but they put me back to the grade seven stuff because that was what they had and that the other kids were working on, so it was a complete waste of my time and their time.

Summer school... well, I had to go, so the least said about it the better.

I remembered the other chore I did. I washed the bathroom floor.
