It has been forever and who knows how long since I have placed an entry in this nearly forsaken thing--despite many claims that I would quickly do so.
I find that the longer the intervals between entries, the more difficult it becomes to write and attempt some form of continuity. Honestly, how easy is it to remember all that has gone on in the past year or so of one's life that, at the moment, seem very important (and let's not even attempt the subject of "finer details" wink .
New chapters in our lives bring new experiences. New experiences can suddenly seemd more important than their predecessors (which I feel has a great deal to do with where you are in your life at the time). But that doesn't mean that those experiences haven't taught us something or helped shape who we currently are in one way or another.
Therefore, I don't truly believe we ever really forget anything of great importance...we just might push it to the back of our minds. There like those possessions we pack away in our closets. Every now and then we dig them out, forgetting we ever stuck them there in the first place.
