Well...the gates are big, they shine quite a bit. The sunlight makes it nearly blinding, but after so much time in the dark, I'm almost lost in the light.

I started writing to keep and keep away the boredom while I wait on this long line...Theres only one man at the gates trying to check a very big record book, its a very slow process. The ticket I was handed says I'm number S1 - M, unforunately they're only serving number 283. I really dont know what this ticket means. It reminds me of my trip to Ariak as a child, people waited in droves to enter the giant wooden doors. Back then, father stood beside me and held my place in line while my mind wandered around. Now he stands beside me instead.

I know he's busy, billions of things are dying out there and he should be sorting them, but I appreciate that he'd walk me through this.

I feel like a kid again...well thats normal considering I am a kid again. I cant say for sure but I'd put myself at 9yrs old. I've lost my powers, but if this is the prize for that cost I dont mind one bit. And these island shorts, they just flood me with memories of Shadow Island. Nostalgia makes me smile.

At the moment I'm caught, Nostalgia makes me smile, but seeing her face before I stepped through the door, and when I think of all the friends I left behind...it makes me want to cry. This book and this sword are all I have to remind me back then. I know the book is what caused so much trouble, but something about this places makes it seem...harmless, and safe. Maybe my bored writings will amuse someone some day.

But when I look back I see a swarming storm, black wisps rushing by as Reapers carry billions more to the line behind me...Maybe he isnt so busy. But I still appreciate him being here. Its like an old parent, or an old friend, just sitting an watching.

Oh! They're calling all the people with S in their ticket, I better run.
