User ImageGreetings once again. Today started out a little bit differently than normal. It seems that when i woke up this morning i had somehow managed to pinch a nerve in my neck during the night and i've spent most of the day trying not to let my neck turn left or right for fear of excrusiating pain. This did not stop me however from visiting my great aunt as usual and helping her do the weekly chores she has trouble with herself. Everything from taking out the trash to driving her where she needs to go, thats what i did today while trying to keep my pain to a minimum. On the plus side, she makes excellent soup and banana bread and i got a fair helping of both today 3nodding

On a side note, I believe it is time to introduce you to Pierre. My Renaissance training is getting more intense and he would be best suited to explaining what is going on with that.

User ImageWell met m'lords and ladies! Today it was my pleasure to study methods of word florification in an attempt to sound less American and more like an English peasant of the Renaissance Era. I shall bore thou not with details of the tedious sort. Nay, I shall instead give thou examplification of the most entertaining sort. I pray thee listen as this example is florified to the utmost.

"The dog barked all night"

A sentance common in all the meaning of the word, yet wholely uninteresting in Renaissance context. Let us instead give to it feeling and purpose.

"That most foul cur, whose coat is lined with fleas, as the field of battle is lined with fighting men, did give forth with such a clamor that Luna herself was forced to stop her very ears for the entire duration of Hyperion's rest."

This florified modification of the previous example invokes feeling even as it invokes the names of the gods themselves. Though thou mayest not comprehend such meaning in full, there can be no confusion that the speaking of such language is representative of a time long passed. It is with this degree of speakage that I hope to address patrons.

Time does wane everly, and I must call a close. Until next we meet good neighbors, fare thee well.
