Here lies a modernized legend about two lovers and their forbidden love.
This story is based of the tale "Puntan Dos Amantes", a folktale in Guam, for the historical landmark, 'Two Lover's Point'. I'm not sure who came up with the original tale, but this version is written by myself, XxxShadowsBetweenUsxxX. Please Enjoy. <3

A girl from an american family finds herself to be on an island. She isn't sure when, or how she got there, but she soon gave up at taking a guess. The girl was very stressed and lonely. Her life was full of unresolved issues, and she was feeling threatened by a boy near her country whom claimed to own her heart, and woul have her soon. She needed a way to relive the stress and found herself to be near a beach with a wonderful view and a wide hoizon. The sun was soon to set, so she decided to take a walk and hopefully clear her head until her family came looking for her.
Meanwhile, a boy half american, half native to the island, was also taking a stroll. He was feeling something quite similiar to the girl, actually. He, too, went for a stroll on the beach to try to clear his mind also. The boy was around 16, and felt quite lonely... The sun was getting closer to a sunset, so he decided he'd go to sit on the edge of a cliff to watch.
When he got to the top and near edge of the cliff, he was surprised to find a young american girl cradling herself with her head in her lap and her arms wrapped around her legs. She looked so small and fragile, and he decided he might see what was wrong. Quietly and slowly he approached the girl adn sat next to her. The girl was surprised by the sound of something next to her, breathing. She looked up slowly to her side. The boy smiled lightly and asked "...Are you alright?...You seem a little upset...". The girl, being surprised, flushed a light pink and nodded. After a few minutes of silence and awkwardness, she spoke. "....I don't know...I.....I'm lost...and....I don't know where I am...and....i just don't know....". The boy thought for a moment and replied, "Shall I help you find your way home? You don't look like you're from around here...". He looked into her eyes and then promptly looked down. The girl, a little confused, replied "...Theres also the little detail of......me not wanting to go back to where i came from....". She looked down and sighed deeply. A few mor minutes passed and the boy looked back up at the girl. "...Well...why is that...?". The girl explained, here and there she would pause or break eye contact for a few seconds. The boy then decided she best tell her family where she is, so that they know she's safe, but if she still did not wish to return later, she could stay. He wasn't really sure how he'd be able to keep her here, but he was really talking without thinking. The girl, being quite innocent and naive took up his offer, but added in she was sure she wouldn't change her mind.
The sun was now set on the horizon, sending beautiful glowy vibes and shades of colour into the sky. It would be time to leave soon, it was starting to get cold, and the boy still needed to find a place for the girl to stay. He slowly stood up and put his hand out for the girl. Shyly, she took it and stood up. They began to walk back to the boy's place of residence. He still wanted her to call home. While they walked, the boy noticed the girl's constant shivering, and offered her the jacket he happened to be wearing. She was about to tell him she would do fine without it when he put it around her shoulders and pulled her closer.
Surprised, the girl flushed a bright pink. The boy was smiling and slightly pink himself. He asked her "...Is that any better?". She silently nodded keeping her eyes on the ground. The boy then realised the hadn't learned eachothers names. He commented a little quietly, "So...Unm...I don't know what to call you...And what if i need to tell you something later?...Unm... My name is Kaikirai by the way...". She looked up at him and studdered a little, "H....hi....Kaikirai....Unm... My n-n-name is.... Kumoriiki.....N-nice to meet you..." she then looked down and was blushing. He looked down at her and realized he had moved his arm from resting on her shoulder, to around her waist. He then gasped and quickly removed his arm. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable... I-I didn't even realize..." he trailed off as she took his arm at hugged it...It didn't seem like she was even listening to him. She then said "You're so warm....Kai-san....".
