Monster world chapter 11-search for the Earth fragment.
When we last left our heroes, they had left chameleon who was in the middle of repairing his home because a ton of shadow warriors trashed it. They tried to continue to their search for the spirit sword fragments, that was two days ago. now we join our heroes on their search for the third fragment. Okay guys, the next fragment we need is the earth fragment. Striker said while walking. What did koji say about that fragment? Boa asked out of curiousity. He said that the earth fragment is a very dangerous fragment. It can cause earthquakes, landslides, and it can bring high mountains down. Striker spoke with great vigor and truth. Striker's words seem to have echoed through their minds, this sounded like the real deal. They were looking for a sword fragment that could destroy anything. Wow, sounds like were gonna get our hands on an awesome weapon. Sarah said with excitment. A fragment that can break apart boulders. Sounds like my kinda weapon. Ziran said with a devilish look on his face. What are you thinking about ziran? Boa asked. Aww nothing. Nothing. He said, thinking about dropping a rock on boas head with the earth fragment. While boa guessed what ziran was thinking and thought about dropping an anvil shapped block of ice on his head.
While those two were thought fighting, sarah asked striker an important question; Hey stirker. Hmm? Where are we anyway? We're in the outskirts of the elf's nation. He said. Sarah reconized that word and said; Elves? Like you? No way. Sarah was truly excited, she always wanted to see elves but from her first encounter with striker she realized that elves weren't as short as she thought. Yup and I think that if we ask someone about the fragment we'll get a clue to finding it. Striker said, hoping that their search will go better than last time.
Meanwhile, stripes was training his shadow warriors for their first mission. Good, you six are doing as well as I thought. He said, while his shadow dragons pulverized the shadow blades. I have a mission for you six. You are to seek out these four children, they have someting that I want. A sword fragment, I need you six to terrorize the country side in order to draw them out. He said with an impatient tone. Now go and take these shadow blades with you! The six shadow dragons and fifty shadow blades teleported to a villege and they began destroying it.
Meanwhile, striker, sarah, ziran and boa were still looking for the earth fragment. Sarah ahd an idea on how to find it faster; Hey boa. Hmm? Can you use that locator spell to find that fragment? She asked. Maybe, it's worth a shot, but i'll need striker's fragment to make it work. Boa siad confidently. Hey striker you don't mind if boa borrows your fragment do you? Ziran asked striker. No, not at all. Striker handed his sword fragment over to boa who began chanting the spell. The spell was stronger than he thought, he sensed an immense power near by. Woah guys, you're not gonna believe this but it's close. He said surprising everyone. Really? Where is it? Ziran said with much enthusiasm. It's on the other side of that hill in front of us. Boa said, pointing across the meadow they were standing in. Well what are we waiting for? Let's go get it! Sarah said running across the meadow with her friends close behind her. They made their way up the hill and when they looked down it, they didn't see the fragment but a girl being terrorized by the shadow warriors. Four shadow blades and one shadow dragon. (gasps) That girl is in trouble. Sarah gasped. Ziran you save the girl, we'll take care of the shadow warriors! Striker ordered like a leader. Can do. Ziran said, he ran at the shadow warriors and knocked them away from the girl who was now on the ground and unconscious.
As promised, Striker, boa and sarah fought off the shadow warriors. The shadow blades were no problem but the shadow dragon was. It got hit by striker's fire ball attack and it didn't damage it. No way, it's still standing. He said with a feeling of surprise. The beast counter attacked with it's own fireballs. Striker raised his arms to block the attack but before he could, his sword fragment created a sheild of fire and it absorbed the fire balls. Woah, that was cool. Sarah said in awe. Boa and ziran saw it too. How did he do that? Ziran asked because he had never seen anything like that. After that, the shadow dragon went on to attack. but ziran ran over and punched it in the face and he knocked it into the ground. The shadow warriors retreated. Boa who was tired and exhausted said; Phew I thought they'd never leave. You wimp, let's see if that girl is okay. Ziran annoyed boa with that last insult but he let it slide. He walked over to the unconscious girl and he tried to wake her up. Hey, are you okay? Ziran couldn't see a reaction at first but after a few more tries he woke her up. The girl was half-dazed but she recalled being attacked. (moans)(gasps) Those monsters, where are they? She said in a frightened huff. Relax! They're gone. Your safe now. Ziran said to her. She looked right at him His body shined in the sunlight from her point of view. Ziran saw her face, she had ocean blue eyes, slightly pale skin and long golden blonde hair that reached half way down ehr back. Who are you? She asked while sitting on her hands. Her face turned a shade of pink from looking at him. My name is ziran.What's your name? He asked. M-my name is rose. Are you the one who save me from those terrible creatures? She asked. Yes but not just me, my friends helped me. He said as his friends came closer. I'm striker. I'm boa. And i'm sarah. They all introduced themselves to their pretty new friend. Why were those things attacking you? Striker asked. I don't know. I was looking for some plants whne all of a sudden those things attacked me out of nowhere. She explian as best as she could. Well your safe now. Ziran said with a smile. Thanks for saving me. Rose said gratefully. You're welcome anytime. Sarah said. You should probably go home, just in case those things come back. Boa told rose. He knew she'd be safer at home but what was bothering him was a question. Why did those shadow warriors attack her and could she have a spirit sword fragment? Rose's words interupted his thoughts. Will you guys come with me? I don't want those thing to hurt me again. She asked. Sure, you'll be safe with us rose. Sarah said with assurance. Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. Rose said while hugging sarah. She was very happy when they said that they would protect her so she just had to express her gratitude.
Meanwhile, the shadow warriors who attacked rose told the other shadow warriors where they saw sarah and her friends. Stripes magically monitered them and he noticed what his minions were up to. They found them? That was sooner than i expected. He said, suprised by his warriors' efforts. They destroyed two villages in the process of finding those four children. He would've had those warriors destroy 100 villages if that would draw out his enemies, but it seems he wont need to. (Now i'll get two fragments for the price of one. Wait a minute! Where's that hunter brat?) Stripes thought and realized that chameloen wasn't with the five children he was looking at through his crystal ball.
Meanwhile, chameleon was jumping from tree to tree, looking for sarah and her friends. I know she's here somewhere. (snifs) ( Their scents are too faint for me to track). He thought, totally unable to smell their scents. Chameleon stopped on a big tree branch and he used his scanners to find the four kids for him. Come on, where are you? (beeps) Huh? Four strong signals and one weak signal. It must be them. He said and he decided to check it out. When he was about 100 feet away from the signals he caught sarah's scent. and he was instantly excited. He stopped when he came close to a field and he saw them walking along with their new friend. There they are and they got a new friend. I can catch four prey and get one for free. Chameleon said enthusiastically. He looked at rose and his scanner noticed a strong signal coming from her pockets. Huh? No way. That can't be right. 2,000 points? This thing must be broken but it looks like i'll get to test out my new weapons sooner than I thought. He said, while looking at his new gear. One in particular had a familiar green glow.
Down in the field, our five young friends were walking along and they talked to eachother to pass the time. So sarah, where are you from? Rose asked. Im from a town far away from here. What's the towns name? Winchester. She said while being abit annoyed by roses questions. I've never heard of it. Is winchester far away? Rose asked. Yes and im trying to find my way back. Sarah said. Oh, you mean your're lost? She asked again. Yep, but they're helping me. (everyone's probably worried sick about me by now). She thought about her family and how she missed them. Well that's very nice of you there. Rose said to striker, ziran and boa. Yeah, well it's our pleasure ro help a friend in need. Ziran said with a hint of blush on his face. Yeah, but you'd do it just to make yourself look tougher. Boa snorted to get on ziran's nerves. Knock it off boa! I meant what I said. Ziran said in frustration. Hey knock it off you two! We're supposed to be helping rose not arguing with eachother. Striker told them in order to make them stop. Speaking of rose, sarah had a good question for her. Hey rose are we there yet? Yes, my house is that big one in the village at the end of this field. It was a big house indeed. It was 80 feet long and it had a large symobl above the door. The symbol was a shield with the letters "A,O,W" on it. The whole bunch stood in surpirse at the site of rose's home. Woah that's your house? Sarah asked. Yep. Rose repiled as the boys gazed at rose's house in total surprise. Your house is alot bigger than we expected. Striker said with a look of amazement. What does the A.O.W. stand for? Ziran asked. Oh that, it stands for the Alliance Of Warriors. Rose said. All three boys were shocked for they knew exactly what it meant but a curious sarah asked; What's the Alliance Of Warriors? You mean you've heard of it? Rose asked.Sarah only shook her head as a way of saying no. I'll tell you later. Because I want to show you around my home. Okay, sounds like fun. Boa spoke after being quiet for so long.
They all followed rose into her house, totally unaware of chameleon's presence and the approaching danger that was the shadow warriors. I wonder what they're up to down there. I better go down and investigate. Chameleon said. He climed down the tree, towards the unsuspecting children. Chameleon used his invisability in order for him to go unnoticed. He followed rose and the others into her house. One by one, they all went inside an they all looked at the room they stood in. There were medals and photos all over the walls. Woah, are these all yours? Sarah asked. No, these are all my dads. My room is down the hall, last door on the left. Rose said. I hope we're safe being here and we don't attract unnecessary attention to ourselves. Boa mind fully said. You worry too much. Relax! No shadow warrior will find us here. Ziran said. I hope you're right. Boa said back to him. Little did they know that the shadow warriors were coming their way.
