I'm tired of all these "Inspirational" songs. Their happy tune and up-beat sound can get a little addicting at times. They tell you things like "Everything is going to be alright!" and "Just believe in yourself! That's all it takes!" and other such bullshit. They tell you to keep hoping and that as long as your confident and keep trying no matter what, everything will be ok. They're deluted and misleading. They bring false hope and only hurt people in the end.
How is it healthy for a happy song to give me hope when there is none? When I listen to a song that tells me to cheer up and feel better, why does it only make me want to cry? I'm sitting here in my room all alone with no one. Just these inspirational songs that tell me "You won't be sad tonight!".
It's nothing but a lie.
I don't mean to sound depressing or emo. I think it's good to have hope. But this is my ******** journal. I emo-fill it all I want. D<

The inspirational songs tend to be on my 'don't listen to much' list, usually because they are very musically boring, and I don't tend to really listen to the lyrics unless I really like the song and all. So they're definitely not for everyone. But hey, it works for some people, getting verbally boosted like that - definatley not every body though.
