Every piano key is unique. Like an individuals personality. Some have a sweet and warm note while others have high piercing shrills Possibly a deep and melodious note, that is comforting and solid. Every person has their own melody unique to them and their personality alone. When simliar keys are played, they can either clash terribly and set your teeth shattering or melt your heart in their duet. As is the same with people. Just because your note is an individual does not mean you can be played with every other note in the piano. Played at a fast or slow tempo, each key has their own part to play in the music, just as every person has their part to play in life. Sometimes fingers will slip and the music will pause for a brief moment but the music will continue once again. The musician, <whomever you believe that to be> knows. Knows every twist and turn, every note that plays its part. Even when the musician never touches a key , that note will always be a part of the music. That key holds those notes that are to be played in place and is part of the greater whole, the piano itself. One key less or one key more will create a new vibration that could either destroy the musical piece or enhance the other keys ability to be a stronger, louder note. Every key has their own part to play in the music we call life.
Although it may seem as no one cares for you, just know that there is another note relying and looking for you. They need you to help them with their own ballad. Their song. Be patient your note will be played and you will have your moment to play, moment to be heard. You are appreciated by many, for you are part of the greater good. Dusty and seemingly unused on the edge of the keys or overlooked and forgotten in the center, your note will be played soon enough. With all due respect~Catherine~
