Yes, this year, we hope that Anime Club will hopefully be able to pull off an appropriate Christmas party. However, it will be much more than a party; it shall be an Extravaganza! xd
Rules (yes, rules):
1) It's pretty much the same deal as Jack o' Lantern Jam though; unless you contribute SOMETHING are you allowed to go. (Will list examples later) Unless you're like Joe who decided to run away to college and came to visit. That's fine.
2) No gag gifts. All gifts will be checked before actually being handed out by a secret moderator and those who tried to give a gag gift, will be suspended from club indefinately.
3) No excessive rambuctious-ness. Yes it's an extravaganza but we will still be in the library, you must remember.
Where, When, and How?
1) Public Library in the Story Hour Room. Or just ask someone on the second floor if you don't see anyone from club; we'll make sure to tell the librarians to help those in need.
2) December 22nd at 3pm-7pm You can leave early if you need to however if you brought anything you can take that with you. ^^

Basically the extravaganza is going to have games, food (and plenty of it), music, and maybe a movie. ^^ We're also going to have decorations INCLUDING a tree. Yes and tree. whee I am very happy about this. gonk What's Christmas without a tree?!?!
I recommend bringing decoration stuffies such as your own ornatments that you may want to put up (I wouldn't bring glass ones though >.> wink and food is always welcome to come in as well for we have use of the kitchen but only council will be in there during preperation. Sorry. sweatdrop
I think we will be good on food though since we'll be having my mother's chili and soup. That and we'll also have pizza. Not to mention all the goodies and sweets that everyone is contributing! *drool*
I have one request with the food though if you plan on cooking it yourself: Please put all the ingredients on a little paper or something so that way if someone has food alergies they know what not to eat, you know? Last thing we need is a trip to the hospital or a lawsuit. sweatdrop
Gifts:
Yes everyone will give and recieve a gift. ^^ Feel special! The person you get to shop for though will be decided on a Hat Drawing! Everyone will write their name down ONCE on a small piece of paper and put it in the plaid hat (apparently) and then everyone will randomly pick a name out of the hat. Whether you keep it secret or not is up to you; I don't care. lol
If you get your own name, hold onto the paper, draw again, and then put your name back.
If you don't know what to get that person as their present you can either ask them or, if you're keeping it secret, ask another club member who might know them a bit better. That and this would always be a great way to know a person better! ^^
All gifts have to be at least $3+ It only seems fair I suppose... unless our president has changed the range and I forgot... oh well, it'll be announced in club regardless. ^^
