» My Life So Far «
I was born in the ruins of what used to be New Orleans, Louisiana to a so-called loving family. I lived a fairly normal life with my parents until Lucian took over my small village. My parents were forced to join his ranks and I was left in the dust. But thankfully, my grandma came by and saved me. She brought me into the forests and hid me, raising me as her own daughter. I didn't understand why my parents didn't want try to save me, and it made me angry.
My grandmother was a kind voodoo practitioner and when she found me, she thought it was a sign from the gods that I was spared. She taught me her beliefs and values and took me under her wing. I grew to love and respect my grandma and loathe my parents, though the old woman tried to explain on countless occasions why they had to do what they did. When I was 15, my grandmother died, forcing me to live on my own. I first made a living at a burlesque house as a "magician" casting spells, making potions and medicine, doing hypnosis, and telling fortunes. When I was seventeen, I decided to branch out on my own and became a traveling fortune teller...though I really make my money through swindling people out of their money.

...a bit of a sadist. Because of my previous experience with my parents "abandoning" me, I have little to no respect or mercy for other people. The only person I ever really cared for was my grandmother. I can be cynical and misanthropic with a twisted sense of humor. Ironically, I DO still love to hang around other people and have fun. I'm very playful and flirty, enjoying a friendly, warm atmosphere as much as the next person. It can be theorized, however, that I only like being around others so much because I feel I can use them...though I could also be just starving for a real human relationship now that I've lost the one with my grandmother. Who knows.
Unfortunately, I'm very distrusting and sometimes seems even downright hateful, which often pushes others away. And my temper is not one to be trifled with; with my aggressive approach on things and my sadistic nature, I'm not past using extreme, malicious measures to exact revenge. I'm undoubtedly open-minded, but I'm also strong and steadfast in my own beliefs, values, and ideas; I don't let the ebb and flow of society sway me. So I can often seem old-fashioned to some people.
Paradoxically, I honestly wish to help people and I love giving advice and aid to people. I hate prejudice with a passion and feels motivated to conquer the world to make it a better place for everyone. I have no alliance with anyone except myself and those I consider friends.
