In this modern day and age
it is getting more and more of an impossibility for every kid to reach their dream.
School is becoming impossible.
Family's are breaking apart.
Children are forming groups, shunning other, bullying.
Everything is becoming more and more expensive.
The stock market's crashing.
The hand of oppression is setting down more and more rules each day.
It's harder and harder to be 'the cool kid' or to be known for something.
You can't fight without being thrown in jail with over a hundred charges against you.
Justice is going on unserved to those who most rightly deserve it.
I'm beginning to wonder,
if this is a sign.
That we all need to stand up.
We meaning us kids.
And change something.
Can the adults not see what they are doing?
Thirty years ago, you could walk down the street, buy an honest and cheap breakfast, candy, and hang out with friends.

Now, people can't afford food.
You can't walk out alone by yourself without getting kidnapped or worse.
The company owners are so concerned with lining their own pockets, they cannot see the hole they are putting in the furture.
But hey. what do they care?
It's not them.
It's us.
Why can't some people just understand?
They don't get it.
They never get it.
You can't become a superhero anymore.
You can't become the best street fighter.
You are being steered towards a small office cubicle or assembly line spot so that the government can stock you away for minimun wage.
You'll make just enough to buy meal tickets, but so little you'll be in debt for the rest of your life.

Does no one care?
Of course not.
Their rule, it's every man for himself.
The movies.
FBI agents, going undercover and taking on dangerous missions.
Cool, right?
Not anymore.
Everything is being succumbed to technology.
New machines, new weapons, new things of every kind.
Agents are no longer needed.
Neither is hand-to-hand combat.
We have long range weapons, and hacking programs.
We have become lazy.
And greedy.
Wanting only to make money.
Does it not seem suspicious,
that every time someone creates a magical cure to 'help people', that virus comes back ten times as strong in another form?

We are slowly destroying the human race.
All we can do is stop it here, as kids.

Stop trying to invent new things, stop trying to create a universal disease cure.


Why don't we focus on the screw-ups that have already been made?

Let's educate the everyday person,
tell them what's going on.
Becuase the government won't help.
Sure we have a new president.
But that in no way means that our lives will be any better off.
Maybe, in eight years or so we'll be able to afford enough gas to drive to the movies.
But not now.
We need change now.
Not over a period of eight years.
We can't even begin to accomplish change now.

Let's bring back the fun.
As kids,
let's save what we have left of our world.
