Anna paced along the interior of a dimly lit stone built room. A seraded knife was clenched tightly in her left hand, her hair shadowed her face as her shoes clicked against the pavement. Harsh breathing could be heard from the other side of the room, a girl tied back to a wall panted as blood dripped down her arm. Yet, Anna's knife held no marks of torture.
"Do you know why. I hate you so, Eve?" Anna questioned, stopping in her pacing as she turned to the girl. Eve glared at Anna, struggling agains tthe ties that bound her hand and foot to the wall.
"Not at all dear Anna. Enlighten me." she mused. Anna chuckled, twirling the knife in her hands.
"You're so funny. Eve. When you do that. So detatched." she said, smiling. She stopped suddenly and hurled the knife towards Eve, it thunking into the wood beside the girl.
"You've ruined my life!" she shouted, staying in her far-off position.
"You couldn't stand the thought that once again, I'd be happy and you'd be left to wallow in your pity!" she screamed.
"He was mine! And you took him!" she continued in rage.
"You won't let me be happy at all will you?!" she asked.
"You saw he liked me, then came in with your damsel in distress act! You took him away! And now he's gone! You've killed him! You've taken him from me!" Anna said, rushing the girl. She grabbed her knife, yanking it from the wood.
"I hate you so~ much!" she said, staying close to Eve. Eve smiled, looking up at Anna.
"It's really none of my fault. He obviously like me more than you. He proved it himself." she said snickering. Anna started off again.
"He was confused!" Anna shouted.
~ Flashback.
Both Eve and Anna sat still in a warehouse, both tied to chairs and both being surrounded by countless men with weapons. The lights dimmed as a boy entered, walking surely to the circle.
'You can only take one.' The crowd said. The boy looked form Anna to Eve, then chose Eve. He picked her up, then simply walked out. The mob closed in on Anna-

Eve smiled.
"And that's why he let the guys scar you!" she said with a glint in her eye. Anna put a hand to her face, dragging it down a long hairline scar to her chest. Numerous scars layered her small body, each healed over but showing contrast against the rest of the skin.
"He thought I was strong enough. To get away." Anna said, her voice breaking down. Eve laughed.
"But you weren't." she said, smiling still. She gasped, nearly choking on air as Anna dove the knife into her right arm.
"I was strong enough. Not to get away. But I didn't cry! Unlike you! You sobbed the entire time!" she shouted at Eve, twisting the blade.
"Come on. You're always so good at crying. Let's see some more of it! Just for me!" she said laughing. Eve coughed.
"You just can't handle the fact. That he's gone. Can you?" Eve asked smiling again. Anna withdrew the knife, plunging it into her gut. Blood quickly covered the floor and both of their clothes.
"No. I can't." she said, taking the knife away once more. Eve sighed.
"So what, are you going to kill me?" she asked.
"No." Anna said sternly.
"I'm going to leave you here. That way, you can cry all you want. But he won't come save you." she said, stepping towards the door. Eve's look wuickly left from smug to panicked.
"No! Don't! I'm sorry! I really am!" Eve shouted. Anna ignored the pleas as she left, shutting then locking the door. A horrified wail was heard from the room as the candles lighting the area were extinguished. Anna walked upstairs, heading for her room. She knelt down by the window which overlooked the front walk.
"Any minute now. He'll come down that path for me. Just for me." she said hysterically, wringing her hands.
"Just for me. Then we'll always be together. Just him. And just me." she said, clenching her hands so hard that her nails cut into her skin.
"Just for me...."
