Chapter 8
Hey everyone who take away from their lives to read this! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while I was uninspired and basically completely forgot about this thing. Anyway ill go ahead and let you read the story.
Chapter 8: Koji’s New Power
It had been a few days since Koji had revealed his double life as a super star to the others. Not only was he doing his favorite thing in the world, but he also got to have his favorite person to be there with him, it made him very happy. So between the concerts and some flying around nothing had really changed for the four of them. Demons would attack them to try and get some credit in the under world but none ever returned without some kind of wound. But there was something that Shikamaru noticed. Whenever Koji sang or around the time he was going to sing he could sense no demons near even though this is a time at which they would all be venerable since they couldn’t transform on stage and reveal who they were. Shikamaru never understood this but for some reason any time he heard Koji sing there was an air of calming everywhere where you just wanted to sing along and it made you feel good. Well he set this aside and went back to his game of volleyball against Takuya and Koji with Kiba on his team. They had all gone down to the beach for a break from fighting demons and the past few concerts they had gone to. He got his head back in the game just soon enough to realize that a ball was coming straight for him. He quickly hit it back over to the opposing side but Koji quickly spiked it back down spinning it into the sand. “Yes! We win!” Koji exclaimed with triumph. The Takuya quickly ran up behind him and brought him into a congratulatory embrace and Koji smiled enjoying the hug. “Ok love birds, time for lunch.” Kiba said. So they al went over to the beach basket and started to get out the sandwiches. “Its nice to take a break from all the demons that have been attacking lately and enjoy this nice sunny…” but just as Takuya said that the sky began to grow very dark like a storm was coming but something foul was in the air. When all of a sudden a lightning bolt struck from the newly blacked sky and it almost hit them. Then another one came down and only barley where they able to avoid it. “Damn, almost had you.” Said a voice. They turned around to see a girl but she wasn’t an ordinary girl, she had small wings on her back like a hawk. “Who are you?” Takuya demanded. “Me?” the demon answered. “I might as well tell you my name since your going to die anyways. My name is Boreas.” “So it’s a fight you want huh?” Takuya said as he was engulfed in flame “Well you’ve got one!” With that Takuya leapt into the air and once he was at the demons level, for she was about 20 feet off the ground, he held out both hands one in front of the other and the began to glow as he said “Crimson Combustion!” and a searing red hot fire ball shot from his hands and went straight for Boreas. When it hit there was a big explosion and lots of smoke. As it began to clear he saw a form still where Boreas was hovering and she let out a little hemph. “Was that meant to hurt me or to get me warm because I was feeling a bit chilly.” Takuya just stared in amassment “No way” he said in awe. “Why don’t you try this!” she said as she held out her hand a something that looked like lightning but was acctually a burst of sharp wind shot at Takuya. When it hit it sent him flying to the ground with a loud crash. “Takuya!” Koji quickly ran over to his side. “Are you ok?” he asked as he helped Takuya sit up. “Yeah I’m fine” “You’re going to pay for that!” Koji said as he was surrounded by water and came out as a cat-person. Shikamaru and Kiba did the same. Shikamaru surrounded by a miniature hurricane and Kiba covered by the earth. But each time they attacked they only got knocked back down and even when they hit it seemed to have no effect. And each time she would just hit them with the strange power over the wind she had and not even Shikamaru’s wind was a match for hers. Very soon they were all beaten up, lying on the ground barely able to move. Then she floated down to the ground and landed right in front of Takuya. “Since you’re the first one who attacked me, you’ll die first” she said. Then as if it had come out of the air itself a blade appeared in her hands and she held it up to Takuya’s neck. “Say goodbye gaurdian.” Then as she swung the blade back, there was a blur that knocked her back and made her release Takuya from her grip. “Why you little brat! How dare you touch me! Then how about you die first! I really do hate the color blue.” Barley able to stand himself Koji set Takuya down. “Don’t you ever touch him again you ugly witch!” “What did you just call me?!? I am going to make you watch me kill him for that.” With a flash she was behind Koji and knocked him to the ground. She once again had the helpless Takuya in her hand holding a blade to his neck. “Takuya!” Koji screamed as he saw his lover’s life about to be ended. He was just lying there, watching and feeling like there was nothing he could do to save his boyfriend. If there was just some way I could save him he thought to himself. Then all of a sudden there was a bright blue light. It came from Koji. All of the sudden he was wrapped in the water again. The demon was so shocked at this new happening she stopped in mid-swing and watched. While this was happening Koji felt like he was in the ocean. All around him was water. But her could see something a little bit in front of him. When he focused his eyes a little bit he could see it was a microphone. All of the sudden he heard a voice say “Koji do you want to save Takuya?” “Yes, of course I do!” Koji said to the anonyms voice. “Then take it.” said the voice. So Koji reached out his hand and took the mic. Then there was a flash of light and Koji was back on the beach. All his wounds were healed and he was in an outfit similar to the outfit he often wore on stage. Boreas was in a state of complete shock when she saw the once helpless gaurdian she had beaten standing and healed. “So you got some new clothes big deal! Take this!” she said as she threw a sharp blow of wind at him. As the attack was getting close Koji heard the voice again “Koji sing! You must sing!” Even though Koji didn’t understand he noticed the mic that was in his hand. “Well here goes everything” he said and he started to sing his favorite song from when he was a child. As the song started he was cover by a bright light that looked like it was just a big white ball around him. As he began to sing Boreas’ attack was coming at him close but he continued to sing. As the attack reached the orb that surrounded Koji it disappeared into the sparkling light. “Impossible!” screamed Boreas as she saw her strongest attack be deflected like it was nothing. Then as Koji continued to sing Boreas felt a horrible pain. It was from Koji’s voice that pure sound mad her sick and made her feeling like her insides were on fire. As Koji the song went on the other’s wound were healed and they started to wake up. When they opened their eyes they all wondered what had happened. “What do you think happened?” Kiba said to Shikamaru. “I dont know” said Shikamaru “But it seems Koji has found a way to beat her.” As the song ended Boreas was doubled over in pain. “It wont be like this next time!” she said and then disappeared into the wind. Then Koji returned to his normal form and the mic disappeared. “Koji you did it!” Takuya said as he rushed over to Koji gave him a hug and kissed him. Koji blushed and said “Yeah but I don’t know how. Man I wish there was someone to help us with this.” “So you want help do you?” they heard a voice say and they turned around to see and older man standing there who had apparently seen the whole thing. They didn’t know who he was but they did know one thing: their cover was busted.
