Call of Duty 2 (PC Version)
So. It's that time again. The Call of Duty series has been one of legendary status for quite a while. You cannot become one of the biggest, baddest FPS names by making crap. These games are good quality. Recently, I payed a visit to a website known as Wegame.com. This website has a free Game Recorder for download that sports good quality recording, and .avi File extensions for saved videos. You can also upload your videos to the site and not have to worry about size and length. Anyway, when I finally got the recorder, I was inspired to pay a tribute to an old friend of mine called Call of Duty 2. Under the username Kotetsu, I have begun to record and upload CoD2 Speed Run videos that are free to watch at anytime. Sense this game has been on my mind a lot, I thought I should review it.
Call of Duty 2
Concept: To create a WWII FPS of outstanding quality that spans 3 campaigns, intense firefights, and awesome cutscenes. To run smooth on even the worst computers, and provide enjoyment for everyone playing.
Graphics: Extremely good no matter what your comp's specs are. The imagery, particle effect, animation, texture are all very good for the type of game it is.
Sound: The dialog is very clear, and the voice acting is quite good quality. The AI continuously provide the player with information about the enemy, and the players next objective. The sound effects are very realistic, but somewhat repetitive. And the music, however scarce it may be, really attempts to expound on the gravity of the situation.
Playability: In this game, it can be quite hard to die. Even if you do die, checkpoints are so abundant, that at most, you will only have to retrace about a minute of action to get back to where you were. The "Aim-down-your-sights" view is toggled very smoothly.
Entertainment: There is so much action in this game that you won't want to stop playing until you've beaten this game on every difficulty.
Replay Value:Moderately High.
