The Old Life, Chapter 11
Three years has gone by and my life has been better. Zetsu's other side has taken a liking to me. Itachi hasn't changed much but he cares. Tobi is my playful little brother and I'm his big sister. I get along mostly with Satori. I don't know why though, but I'm just so attracted to him. Two days ago was my birthday. I was used to not getting presents at Orochimaru's so I wasn't sad. Walking out of my own room I was blinded by hands. "What's going on?" "Calm down, it's only me," said
Deidara. "What are you doing?" "Leading you. " "To Where." "You'll see." Deidara lead me to somewhere. Taking his hands away I was in the main room and Tobi was infront of me. "Happy late birthday Saga-chan!" Tobi opened a small rectangle box. Inside was a black collar with a yellow bell on it. "Awwww, it's so cute." "See Tobi was right." I placed it around my neck. It was beautiful. "Hey stop staling you two. Saga it's time to go," Kisame warned us. "Coming." Giving Tobi and Deidara a hug, I thanked them.
"What's the mission today." "We have to deliver a package and in return we get information on Gaara." "...Oh" Kisame looked at me "You ok? "Yah just remembering things." "Hm." Nobody noticed us as we ran across roof tops. Sometimes I would look around to find someone taking glances at us. I think my eyes were fooling me but I'll tell Kisame and Itachi later. We jumped down into an alley. Itachi opened a hiden passage way by moving a barral and a small but suitable stone wall. Itachi of course went first, then Kisame. I went last. As I slide in I saw shadows go pass and one stayed. It could have been a commener, but I didn't pay too much mind to it. "It might be me but I think we're not the only ones to know this guy." They boh stopped walking and turned to look at me. "What do you mean?" Itachi questioned. "While on the roof, I looked around and saw jonins taking glances at us." "I didn't see any." "Well it's probably ninja vacation." Itachi was quiet. "Just keep your gaurd up."
We got to this room, where the guy was. When seeing the man he looked strong and wise. "Do you have the poision?" the man asked. Itachi showed him. The man went to obtain it, however Itachi wanted the information first and covered it back up. "Fine." The man started to talk. While he were doing so I felt the presence of another. Looking behind me, there was nothing. Turning back they finished talking. Itachi gave him the poision. Sighing through my nose we left.
"Damn," was all I said when I moved the stone wall away. Sprinting out, I pulled out Heart Break. Kisame had made and given it to me for keeps. There were at least 30 jonins staring at us. It was easy for us to take out the front and second line but the back...they surely had a plan. While they sent out their jutsu's and weapons, the men that we knoked out (or we thought was knoked out) grabbed us by our ankles. "s**t," I thought. "We must go," Itachi annouced. Itachi kicked while Kisame swipped his sword over his men to weaken them. They were waiting for me on the top. Mostly Kisame though. "Just go...I'll catch up!" Kisame hestitanted at first but then left.
I couldn't fight them off myself. Especially not with Heart Break alone. I had to use a jutsu, which I only use unless my fist and weapons weren't enough. "Needle claw!" Strands of my hair came out and attached themselves to the men. Every strand having the power of a tiger swip. It wouldn't kill them, not unless I wanted it to. Sighing through my nose, my work was done and placed Heart Break away. I jumped up, landing on the roof of a house. Kisame wasn't far and Itachi was gone. I smiled at him to insure him that I was ok. However, someone or something grabbed my ankle from up here. "Why don't I just kill-" I was cut off by the face of "him". "Gaara," I whispered to myself. "Whats wrong?" "Just go, I'll meet you at the hideout!" Gaara pulled me down to his level. He looked different. His eyes had gotten cold from the last time I saw him. The feelings I had for him before arouse making my face blush. I couldn't feel Kisame near me so he must've left.
"Come," Gaara commaded. His voice was deep and chilly (*melts*). I charged at him with Heart Break in my grasp. Bringing my sword up and then down with force to injure his arm. Before I could do that, a barrier of sand sheilded him. It surprised me but I didn't act like it did. From the sand, formed a copy of him. The copy sent sand-like shurikens at me. Jumping from side to side I dodged them. It was a trap; when I landed, my body was wrapped in sand, I gasped. Gaara lifted his hand; as he tighted his grip, the sand also tighted. Squezzing the life out of me. My sight was getting blurry. Before I passed out a guy with bandages around his head stopped Gaara, while he was holding his head.
