Tyren's thoughts screamed in his head. He ran quickly, slashing as he went. Dead bodies fell around him, their crimson blood pouring. A clanging sound emitted as his sword clashed with another. Tyren smiled as he jumped back. This, obviously, didn't amuse the brown haired
Man. The man ran, sword ready to slash. Tyren ran, also ready to slash. The man quickly and smoothly moved to his left. Tyren followed his movement, but to his left. Tyren turned and raised his shield as a shower of arrows came falling down. The man used the distraction to
run and slash Tyren. His sword came down fast, into Tyren's hip. Tyren screamed and stabbed the man, but the man already moved. Tyren could barely walk, but he made his way toward the man. The man ran quickly, sword in his left hand. Tyren smiled as the man got close. Quickly
he shifted his weight to his good leg, and jumped up. The man stared in awe as Tyren flip straight over him. Tyren lunged his huge sword straight into the man's throat, mid flip, and landed. The pain shot up his leg as he shifted his weight back. He looked around. The South was
retreating. Tyren went back, and bandaged his hip. They had won the battle. He laid down and rested.
Tyren woke up to the sound of swords clanging. He quickly got up, not bothering on putting his armor on. He grabbed his sword, and his bow. He ran outside and looked around. The enemy already had the upper-hand. Tyren brought his bow up, and shot four arrows at the same time.
Each hit someone on the head. He got four more arrows ready and shot. Four more people fell. The South finally noticed who was shooting. They all raced toward him, swords drawn. Tyren shot seven more rounds before taking out his sword, dropping the bow. He waited until the first
wave came. Slashing fiercely he killed the four people in front of him. Quickly, he grabbed a spear from the hand of one man, and used it to stab five men. An arrow caught him by surprise as it cut though his ear. He dropped the spear and slaughtered three more men with his blade.
Then, a strong blow came upon his sword, strong like a blacksmith's hammer falling upon hot metal. The blow knocked his sword from his hands. The man who knocked out his sword was about to kill him, when a sword cut through his neck. Drokiem stood over the dead body, frowning.
"Am I going to have to watch over you all day, Tyren?"
Tyren smiled "Hopefully not, my friend."
Drokiem turned to fight of the rest of the Southern troops as Tyren got his sword back. A few seconds later, Drokiem and Tyren were fighting side by side. After two minutes of bloodshed, the South retreated again. Tyren looked at Drokiem, whom pulled out his CPU and messaged someone.
Tyren stared down the road and smiled when he heard startled screams, along with screams of pain. "They're not the only ones who have surprises up their sleeves." Tyren stared at the arrows raining down on the Southern soldiers.
The war waged on, Tyren's army suffered minimal casualties. Everyone thought the war was almost over. Everyone besides Tyren and Drokiem. They never forgot the fact that the south still didn't have their long talked about Undera troops. Tyren stood, watching over the fields.
Nothing was happening, yet. Tyren called the troops into position.
"Troops get ready." Tyren said. "We will perform our first attack on the enemy camp. Riders, get ready. Wizards, go with the riders. The rest of you will lead this group into the attack."
Tyren left and walked to Drokiem's tent. He was about to knock when Drokiem spoke.
"Tyren, come in"
"How did you know I was coming?"
"Easy" Drokiem said "I saw you through the window. Tell me what is it you need?"
"My ride"
Drokiem looked at him, astound. "Right away."
The sudden sound of marching alarmed Rolik. Golk stopped talking to look outside. He turned around and yelled at his troops.
"Get over there now!!"
Rolik picked up his sword and ran outside. The camp was filled with Northern troops. Rolik ran and started slashing. Blood splattered on his face. He stabbed a man with his sword, and kicked the man in one quick motion. He was doing well today. Thirteen dead men at his feet.
He was about to kill another when he heard a loud roar. It was followed by another, lower roar. Nervously he looked up to the sky. Dragons, a lot of dragons. Rolik decided to run, and get his rockets. He came out of the tent to see that not only had the North brought in its Dragon riders,
but also Tiger, Rhino, Wolf, and Cheetah Riders. Rolik put the huge rocket on his back. Sword drawn, he started slashing anyone he could. He managed to handicap a few of the Riders, using his javelins. Then he saw it, the White Dragon, Tyren's Dragon. He positioned the large rocket, and
pulled the cord. A loud hissing noise was emitted, as the rocket flew up into the dark sky. A loud explosion, along with an orange flash, quickly followed. Tyren was falling to the floor. Rolik smiled, he had killed Tyren.
Tyren didn't know what had happened. One minute he was on Sorl, and then he was falling. Tyren opened his hands. He felt as if everything was slowing down. He smiled, and closed his eyes.
Rolik stared as Tyren continued to free fall. Finally he hit the floor. Rolik slashed his way to the corps. Inside a huge creator, the body laid still. Rolik turned around, satisfied. He smiled, and walked of. Then he stopped. He listened for a while, then kept on walking.
"I'm going crazy" He thought. Rocks fell, Rolik turned and saw a hand sticking out of the creator. Tyren climbed out, and looked at him. Rolik turned and began to run. A strong pain shot up his leg, then he was knocked out.
The battle was over. Tyren stood, staring at the bloody field. He turned, and walked over to Sorl. The dragon only suffered an injured wing, but it would heal soon. Tyren walked past the corpses of his troops, and looked toward the sky. It was late, Tyren decided to go back to base.
He started to walk when he noticed a shadowy figure. He beckoned the figure to come, slowly, and nervously, a kid stepped into the light. He didn't know who the kid was. All he knew was that he was a peasant. Tyren smiled, and asked.
"What can I do for you, child?"
The boy was taken aback, then he said, "I want to join your army! Sir."
Tyren looked at the boy, "Do you know any sword, arrow, or magic techniques?"
Peasant boy smiled, and took out a wooden stick. He started swinging wildly and randomly. He did some side-steps, a few run and swing, and a grab and drop to the floor. Tyren just smiled and shook his head.
"Sorry kid, but we need fighters, not actors. Once you learn some real moves, call me."
The boy picked his stick up and started to walk away, shoulders slumped.
"Kid" The child stopped and looked at Tyren, "Stay here, I'll train you."
"Thank you sir."
"By the way, what’s your name?"
"Shion, sir."
Tyren smiled, "Well, what are you waiting for?"
The boy ran happily to the camp. Tyren laughed as the boy jumped and flipped down the path.
Three days later, Tyren and Shion stood on a hill overlooking the fields. Shion had a sword in hand, and was ready for war. Tyren turned and walked down the path, Shion tried to keep up.
"Sir, what bothers you?"
Tyren didn't respond.
"Sir?"
"Something is wrong."
"What do you mean?"
"Something isn't right. The South seems... Distracted."
Shion stopped to catch his breath. "How is that?"
"...I still don't know, but we will, soon."
They entered the busy camp, barely noticed by the wandering people. Drokiem came running frantically, weaving through the mob of people. He stopped at one point, to avoid being hit with training arrows. Aside from that, he paid no attention to the activity around him. He had some files in his hand
along with his personal, handheld, CPU. He gave the files to Tyren.
"What is the meaning of this!?"
"I honestly have no idea."
Tyren reread the papers, and then looked at his friend.
"Tyren, we must stop this."
"Of course we must. We can't just let the South get their hands on the hidden power."
"It's too late for that, but not too late to get it back."
"What do you mean, Drokiem?"
With a shaky hand, Drokiem handed the CPU to Tyren. It had the latest edition "Hitorik Times".
"They have the Element of Ice!?"
Drokiem nodded gravely.
"Tyren, Drokiem" Shion spoke, in a confused tone, "What is this talk of hidden powers, and Elements?"
Tyren said nothing, so Drokiem decided to explain.
"The Elements and the hidden powers we speak of are the same."
"Drokiem is right."
"And why do you two worry? It can't be that bad. Can it?"
"Yes, it can. The powers of the Elements are beyond our comprehension."
"A long time ago, when the world was young, and the gods lived among the earth, power thrived. This power came in forms of Eight Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, Stone, Dark, and Light. But the power soon filled the hearts of some of the gods. Those gods used the power to kill their brethren.
They fought, for 6456 years. Once the war was over, only a few gods remains, weak. They feared that if they kept the power, they would surely die. So they sealed it away, in a Temple that was impenetrable. Eventually, the gods found their strength, and decided to let others inhabit the planet.
They created species to live and thrive on earth. One of these species was the Human race, another was the Shadow people. The Shadow people turned on the Humans and the other species. They used dark magic to create The Ultimate Beast, Escorada. The Human race tried to fight, but Escorada was too strong.
The gods had mercy, and decided to lend one the power of the Elements. He managed to vanquish the Beast, but the power was too strong, and it wound up destroying half of the earth. He survived, and asked the gods for help. They decided such a power shouldn't exist, but they were nervous. If they destroyed
it, Escorada might come back. So they put the power in Eight round stones, the size of a marble. The stones would control the power. Then they gave each stone to a chosen leader, and his tribe. They would protect and use the stones. The tribes, known as the Traka, eventually got murdered. Only one from each
tribe survives. As for the Elements, no one except Tyren, and the one whom stole the Element of Ice, knows where they reside."
"Tyren, are you a..."
"Yes, I'm from the Pyro Tribe. Melani is also one. Part of the Aqua Clan."
"How are you going to get the Element back?"
"Fight Ice, with Fire."
