It was exactly like my dream. What I had hoped not to happen, was happening. I knew I shouldn't have done what I was doing! But I was doing it! Why?!
I had the knife in my hand, lightly pressed against her soft, bare neck. Then I slowly slit her throat, watching as the blood gushed out and hearing the throat make gurgling sounds. I smiled. And what a smile it was!
Why did I do it?! What possessed me to do such a thing? Was it my insane jealousy or my hatred towards the man she loved? Which ever it was, it drove me into madness.
I told myself, as I fell to my knees on the bloody floor, this is a dream. I kept telling myself that. "It's a dream!" I screamed as I threw the knife.
I killed her infront of all these people! Jail? Death? What would become of me?!
I looked at the people around, some running, screaming, staring. And there he was. Her lover... The pain in his eyes made me feel good.
"What did you..." He caressed her lifeless body as tears ran down his face. "No, no, no..." He shook his head. "She can't be... No, no, no."
"Don't touch her." I whispered.
"No, no, no, no..." He was ignoring me! Ignoring me! The b*****d was ignoring me!
"Don't touch her!" I punched him in the face with all my strength. The blood from his nose seemed to float through the air, as if it were to be stuck there forever. My punch sent him flying backwards onto his back, away from her body. Her corpse... I really did kill her.
I knew what was going to happen next. He was going to jump on me, there was no avoiding this at all.
He was on me before I knew it. Punching my face, clawing at me. I pushed at him several times, finally getting him off of me.
He landed by the knife and grabbed onto it.
This is the part I hated about my dream, and I was as ready as ever. He came at me with the knife, trying to stab me in the chest. My hand wrapped around the wrist with the knife, trying my hardest to keep it away.
People were just watching! Not trying to help or stop this madness! Do they enjoy the fear they're feeling?
I twisted his wrist, making him drop the knife. The knife bounced and slid away. He and I grunted at the same time, trying to dive for the knife.
I got the knife. "Ha!" He grabbed my arm! This was not in the dream! No, no! What is this?!
He took the knife from me, kicked me down to the floor and held me in place.
This isn't my dream anymore. This is a nightmare! Why me? Why me... I'm not supposed to die! I can't! I'm supposed to kill him too!
The knife was at my throat! God, no! "Mother fu-"
