Hey! It's another excerpt from a newer story I'm working on.
"A Guy Named Spec"
I was walking back to my apartment from the library when I bumped into someone. I bumped into them so hard I fell backwards and dropped my books.
"Sorry man, I guess I wasn't watching where i was going." I said gathering my books together. He bent down and started to hand them to me.
"It's not a problem." He smiled and stood up, he held out his hand. I took it as he pulled me up and I smiled for the first time in 3 years.
"I'm Spike by the way. Sorry for running into you like that, it's not a good day. I guess I was zoning out." I said letting the smile slide from my face. He looked at me curiouslyletting his smile waver a little.
"i'm Spec. Don't worry about it, as long as you're not hurt." Spec said sweetly. I smiled and shook my head telling him I wasn't hurt.
It's a work in progress. This is the very begining of it. I kno it's kinda long, but if I didn't do it this way then it wouldn't have made that much sense. XP lol
