Carl was staring wide eyed at the cafeteria before he turned his glare on me.
“Yeah, sure, ok, you’re all pulling my leg.” He laughed, as I kept my smirk.
“Oh, so you still don’t believe me? Aw, too bad. Well, I guess I’ll just have to show you.” I waited for him to stop laughing and look at me curiously.
“Huh?” He tilted his head to the side and his eyes widened as I jumped on him, sending us both to the floor. Everyone within fifty feet got up and moved away. I punched him from my position, half sitting half laying on him. He brought his hands up to block my next punch and he flipped over, straddling my stomach.
“Lucky, you say?” I asked after he landed a punch square in my jaw. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the back of the head, sending him tumbling forward. I quickly jumped up and turned to see him slowly getting up off the ground. I ran up towards him and jumped up, kicking him in the chest. He was sent flying backwards and landed on a table. I landed and walked over to him, as he tried to get up.
“Damn, they were right.” He muttered as he straightened up and looked at me. I smiled, stepped up to him, and kneed him in the groin with all my strength. His eyes bulged as he grabbed his groin and fell over, moaning in pain.
“That one was for what you did to me, you sick perverted b*****d. If you ever come near me, my friends, or my school again I swear nobody will find the body.” I sneered as I turned on my heel and walked back to my friends. They were watching Carl with sympathetic looks before they turned to me with a smile.
“Good going, I bet you feel a hell of a lot better.” Lance said, hugging me and stepping back.
“That was awesome!” Lyle praised, copying Lance.
“I’m proud of you.” Luke smiled and hugged me before he kissed me, which I responded too. We broke apart when we needed air, only to find our arms wrapped around the other.
“Thanks, that makes three of you, I guess. I just wish some people could be proud of me.” I replied, laying my head on Luke’s shoulder.
“I’m sure they are.” He whispered, squeezing my reassuringly. I nodded and smiled.
I sighed as I looked out the window of my room. It was Saturday and raining. I smiled as I turned and left my room. I walked down the hallways and the stairs, until I stopped at the back door that leads to the stables. I looked down at my attire before I opened the door and walked out. I was wearing a black shirt that ended a couple inches above my belly button, black khakis and my boots, with my hair in a high ponytail. I was rarely seen with it down. I walked past the stables and continued down towards the small lake, getting completely soaked.
I stopped at the edge of the water and looked out over the water at the trees. I smiled as I felt the rain soak my clothes and skin. I closed my eyes and inhaled the sweet scent of the wet earth. Sighing, I started to remember clips of my past. I was nine, it was pouring rain and I was running down the street, not caring about the pain of my recent beating. I was twelve, it was cloudy and I was crying down by the lake behind the mansion wondering why my parents did not love me. I was fourteen, it was sprinkling and I was walking home from the police station, glad for the rain to cover the unseen tears I was shedding. I was five; it was bright and sunny as I was staring at the wall of my room under the staircase of one of our old houses, waiting for my next beating. Someone shouting my name from behind me, steadily getting closer, interrupted my thoughts. I slowly turned around to see Luke running towards me with an umbrella in his hand, trying to stay dry. I shook my head and turned back around to the lake.
Five minutes later, Luke stopped next to me, panting as he held the umbrella over the both of us.
“Lee, what are you doing? You’re going to catch a cold.” He scolded, stepping up in front of me.
“Trying to be alone, but obviously I’m not going to have that. What is it that you want? How’d you even know I was here?” I asked, annoyed and exasperated.
“I knew you’d be here because you love the rain and you love it down here. I wanted to make sure you’re alright. I tried calling, but your people weren’t sure where you were.” He replied, shrugging.
“Fine, fine, but will you please leave me be? I really need to be alone and I don’t feel like entertaining anyone tonight. Sorry, babe.” I said, leaning over and kissed his cheek before I turned to the side and walked along the water’s edge.
I silently walked into my music room and grabbed my guitar before plugging it in one of the speakers. I put the strap around my shoulders and adjusted the strings. I started to strum as I tapped my foot and nodded my head, just playing for no reason. After an hour or so, I put my guitar back and went into my room. I sat down on my bed and looked at the clock at the side of my bed it was 10pm. I sighed as I stood up, walked into my bathroom and changed into my nightclothes before I climbed into bed, hoping for sleep to come.
Around midnight I sat up and reached for my cell phone, flipping it open. I pressed the speed dial and put it up to my ear, hoping he would answer it.
“‘Ello?” Luke answered, groggily. I smiled and sighed in relief.
“Hey Luke, I’m sorry for bothering you.” I replied, closing my eyes and rubbing my forehead.
“No problem, you can always bother me. What’s wrong?” He sounded more awake now.
“I can’t sleep, is it possible that you could come over? I know it’s asking a lot, but I really need you.” I sounded like I was going to cry, now.
“Yeah, I’ll be there within twenty minutes.” He hung up. I smiled as I closed my phone and dropped my hand to my lap as I continued rubbing my forehead, before I headed downstairs.
Fifteen minutes later, I heard a soft knock on the front door. I jumped up from my seat on the floor next to the door and quietly opened the door. Luke was standing there in a red T-shirt and black sleep pants, with a jacket over the shirt. I saw him look me over before his eyes settled on my face. I was wearing a white tank top, dark blue men’s sleep pants and my hair was in a low sloppy ponytail.
“I’m sorry for waking you up.” I apologized again as I stepped aside to let him in.
“It’s ok, really, I don’t mind. Stop apologizing.” He replied, stepping in before I closed the door and stepped up next to him. I grabbed his hand and led him up to my bedroom.
I closed the door behind us as Luke tossed his jacket on the chair at my desk and sat down on the bed. He was staring at me while I stared at the ground at my feet.
“What’s bothering you?” He asked, standing up and walking up to me.
“I don’t feel…safe.” I replied, closing my eyes as I fisted my shirt in my hands. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the bed, where he sat me down. He kneeled down in front of me as I opened my eyes to look at him.
“Are you ok?” He searched my eyes as I stared at him. I shook my head ‘no’ and closed my eyes, wrapping my arms around myself.
“Please, tell me what’s wrong.” He pleaded; worry lacing his voice as I felt his arms encircle my waist.
“I kept thinking about my past, how I felt. When I was younger, I used to wonder why my parents never loved me, why I was always alone with no one there for me. I just…I can’t…I don’t know how to explain it to you. I just need someone here with me; I just need you here tonight. Please.” I begged, opening my eyes to look at him.
“I won’t leave you, ever.” He got up and sat down next to me, with his arms around me.
“Thank you.” I whispered as I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, yawning.
“Let’s lay down.” He gently let go before standing up and pulling the covers down. I slid under them as he got in next to me, wrapping his arms around me and covering us both up. I smiled slightly as I felt him tighten his hold on me as we closed our eyes and fell asleep.
It was a bright day and I was riding my motorcycle towards a house I didn’t know. I pulled into the driveway, got off; set my helmet on the seat before I walked up to the door. It was a small two-story house, with a nice yard and picket fence. I knocked on the door and it opened a couple minutes later.
“Hi, can I help you?” The woman asked, tilting her head slightly. She looked about 26 with shoulder length brown hair and dark gray eyes. She was wearing a pair of old jeans and a baggy button up shirt with splats of paint on them.
“Yeah, does a Luke Sumans live here?” I asked in an older voice.
“Yes, he does. He’s my husband, but he’s at work right now. He should be back any minute now. Who are you?” She replied, smiling.
“Oh, um, thanks. Nice meeting you.” I smiled sadly, as I turned on my heel and walked towards my bike.
“Wait! What’s your name?” She shouted when I got halfway to my bike.
“Jean, just Jean.” I called back as I got to my bike. I put my helmet on before I got on my bike and turned it to leave. As soon as I turned it around a car pulled into the driveway next to me. A man about 26 got out; he looked like an older version of Luke. He looked my bike over, and then looked me over. I lifted the plastic part of my helmet up so he could see my face. His face turned to shock as he stared at my face. I put my helmet back down before I sped out of the driveway. I could hear him calling my name as I turned onto the street.
I sat up and looked around; I was back in my room. I sighed in relief, but I stopped halfway when I felt something oddly cold and heavy on my waist. Then, I noticed that I was lying in some sort of liquid. I reached over to the side table and turned on the lamp. I turned back around to see what was up. As soon as I turned around, I jumped up and screamed my head off. In my bed was a pale Luke, covered in blood. His eyes were open and staring at me with blood covering the bed. I slid to my knees and threw my head back.
“NOOOOOOOOO!” I screamed to the skies as tears started to fall.
My eyes snapped open I was panting and sweaty. I slowly sat up and turned my head to look at Luke. He looked to be sleeping, he was lying on his back with his arms across his stomach, and I could not feel any liquid around us. I turned the rest of my body to face Luke and reached out, placing my hands on his shoulder. I roughly shook him, practically screaming his name. Two minutes later, he shot up and looked around.
“What? What’s happening?” He asked sleepily as he turned to face me. I threw my arms around him and buried my head in his chest, catching him off guard.
“Please don’t die, don’t leave me, ever. Please, stay here with me forever. Please.” I begged desperately. He wrapped an arm around me while his other hand stroked my hair, soothingly.
“I won’t leave you. I won’t die. I’ll stay with you until the very end. I promise.” He said, trying to soothe me.
“Don’t marry anyone else, please, stay mine forever.” I whispered, burying my head deeper in his chest. I felt his hold tighten as I said this.
“What are you talking about? What’s wrong? Did you have a bad dream or something?” He asked, pushing me back, gently, to look at him.
“I was on my bike going to a house I didn’t know. I got there and a woman answered your door, she said she was your wife. Then as I was leaving, you pulled up and you looked 26. I had a feeling we hadn’t seen each other for a long time from the way you looked at me and from the way I felt when I found out that you had a wife. I flipped up my helmet and you recognized me, but I sped off. Then, I woke up and you were dead. Blood everywhere.” I explained, letting go. I turned over and lay back down, pulling the covers tightly around me as I closed my eyes.
After a couple minutes of silence, I felt Luke move closer and wrap an arm around me as his mouth moved to whisper in my ear.
“I won’t marry anyone else.” He whispered, before he kissed my cheek. I smiled as he pulled me closer and rested his head in the crook of my neck, our eyes closing.
“I love you, Luke.” I whispered as I slowly started to drift to sleep.
“I love you too, Lalee.” He replied, falling asleep.
The next day, I awoke to find Luke on his back and me laying halfway on him. My head was on his chest with his arms around me and my upper body was half on him and half on the bed. I carefully got off him and the bed, trying hard not to wake him. I stood up, stretched, and walked over to my desk. I grabbed my songbook and went into the music room, being extremely quiet. I grabbed my guitar and walked over to a small table in the corner, dragging the stool over too. I put my book on the table and sat on the stool, as I put the strap of the guitar on my shoulders. I tapped my foot before I started to play.
After an hour or so, I had the song written down and the guitar part right. I took a deep breath as I started to strum the strings, before I started to sing.
“How to describe such a perfect boyfriend?
He’s sweet, but not too sweet
He’s kind, but not that kind
He’s protective, but not overly protective
He’s cool, but not too cool
He’s there when you need him
He’s always watching out for you
He’ll help when he can
He’ll carry you when you can’t walk
He’ll stitch you up when you’re cut
When you need someone to talk to
He’ll be listening
When you’re lost and can’t find your way
He’ll guide you home
When you’re lonely and need company
He’ll sit with you
When you need comfort
He’ll hold you
When you think about killing yourself
He’ll talk you out of it
When your heart is broken
He’ll put the pieces back together
When you get attacked by someone
He’ll kick their a$$
When you need to be cheered up
He’ll make you laugh
When you feel like you’re falling
He’ll be there to catch you
When life gets harder
He’ll make it easier
When you need protection
He’ll be your shield
When you’re caught in the rain
He’ll be your umbrella
How to describe such a perfect boyfriend?
He’s a little bit of everything
He’s everything you need.” By the time I was done, I was standing up and jumping around the room with my eyes closed. After a minute, I stopped playing the guitar and stood there, letting the last note hang in the air. As soon as I opened my eyes, I heard clapping and turned around to see Luke standing in the doorway. I blushed and hurriedly put my guitar back before I grabbed my book.
“How much did you hear?” I asked, looking at the ground, still blushing slightly.
“All of it.” He replied, walking towards me. My head snapped up to look at him he was smiling.
“Oh, you weren’t supposed to hear it, at all.” I walked past him into my room, setting my book in my desk before I walked to my closet.
“Why not?” He stepped in the doorway to my closet.
“Because you’d probably think I was weird or something. I don’t know I just didn’t want you to hear it, yet.” I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom.
I walked out of the bathroom, showered and dressed. I was wearing a black tank top with black jeans and white socks. I had my usual make-up on and my hair was down, for once. I looked around my room, only to find Luke gone. I shrugged and walked down to the kitchen. In the kitchen were Luke, Lyle, and Lance all sitting at the table. They looked up when I entered and stared at me.
“What?” I asked, raising an eyebrow at them.
“We’ve never seen your hair down.” Lance replied, as all three smiled.
“Oh, ok. I just got out the shower, so it’s still a little wet. I hate wet hair in a ponytail.” I explained, walking over and sitting at the head of the table. Luke was dressed in a black T-shirt and black skinny jeans with his usual shoes. Lance was dressed in a black muscle shirt and black baggy jeans with his usual shoes. Lyle was dressed in a nice black polo with black jeans and his usual boots.
“It looks nice.” Lyle complimented, as the others nodded in agreement.
“Thanks, I guess.” I shrugged as one of the butlers brought in a bowl of ramen. I nodded my thanks to him as he bowed and left.
About halfway through my ramen, the doorbell rang.
“I wonder who that is.” I thought aloud as I got up and walked to the door. “I got it!” I called through the house, making sure none of my butlers or house cleaners decided to get it. I opened the door to reveal a very pissed off Jim. I was about to say something when he punched me in the jaw. I fell backwards, completely off guard, and he jumped on me. He held my hands above my head as he straddled my stomach and started to punch me with the other hand. I felt someone grab my legs and held them down. I could feel the blood running down my face as Jim kept punching me; my nose and lip were bleeding. With all the strength that I had, I pushed my lower body up sending Jim flying over my head, taking my arms with him. I yelped from the sudden pull of my wrists with my legs still struggling.
“Luke! Lyle! Lance!” I screamed before I was punched as the person holding my legs started to move up my body. I looked up to see Carl looking at me with that look in his eyes. The same look he had the day he raped me. I struggled as hard as I could, trying to get free, trying to get away from them. I felt his hands slowly make their way up the front of my shirt and all the fear left me. My eyes snapped open, filled with anger. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the back of the head, he fell forwards, but didn’t get off.
“Get off me!” I screamed as I kept struggling against Carl and Jim. Suddenly, my wrists were free just as Carl started to rip my shirt open.
“Get your hands off her! That is for my eyes only!” I heard Luke yell from a couple feet away from me. I reached up and punched Carl as hard as I could in his nose, breaking it. He fell backwards, grabbing his nose as I scrambled up and looked down at my shirt. The rip ended just below my bra line, so nothing important was visible. Carl was on his knees with one hand supporting him while the other held his nose. I walked up to him and kicked him in the face, making him flip backwards on his back. I stepped back and shook my head before I turned around and ran up towards my room.
I ran into my bathroom and took off my ripped shirt, tossing it back out in my room. I grabbed a cloth and ran it under the water before I wiped my face with it. After that was done, I walked back out to my room just as Luke ran into the room. He quickly turned around and shut the door as I walked to my closet. I grabbed a black T-shirt and put it on before I walked back out to my room.
“You can turn around now.” I said to Luke as I stood on the other side of the bed, staring at him. He slowly turned around and quickly ran around the bed to me.
“Are you ok? What happened?” He asked, looking my face over.
“I’m fine. Are they gone?” I replied, stepping closer to him and laying my forehead on his shoulder.
“Yeah, we threw them out and told them that if they come back we’ll call the police.” He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I sighed, slid my arms under his, and grabbed his shoulders from the back.
“So, I’m for your eyes only, eh?” I asked amusement filling my voice.
“Yeah, you are.” He chuckled.
“Who says?”
“I do.”
“Oh really.”
“Yeah.”
“What if I say that I’m not?”
“Ah, but you are.” We laughed.
“Whatever. It’s my call, not yours. Sorry.” Luke leaned down and captured my lips with his own.
As we kissed, Luke started to back me up towards the bed. I didn’t notice until we fell backwards onto the bed, with him on top of me. His lips left mine as he kissed his way down my jaw line to my neck and I felt his hands move up and down my sides. He kissed my neck a couple times before moving his way back up to my lips as one of his hands found his way under my shirt on the side. My eyes snapped open as images of that day with Carl flashed across my mind and I quickly tried to push Luke off me, but he didn’t move just kept kissing my neck.
“Luke, stop, please.” I begged as my eyes started to water. I felt him pull away and he looked at me.
“What?” He asked before he jumped up when he saw a tear slip down my face. I sat up and quickly wiped my eyes on my shirt.
“I’m sorry, Lee. I didn’t mean to do anything.” He apologized, taking a step back.
“It’s ok.” I whispered, staring at the floor.
“You know I wouldn’t do that to you. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that. You know I wouldn’t hurt you like that, right?” He stepped up and kneeled down in front of me.
“I know. I’m just not ready for that. I’ll understand if you want someone that would go that far.” I stood up and walked around him, towards the window seat. I sat down, pulling my legs up to my chest as I stared out the window. Luke jumped up and ran over to the seat, sitting down in front of me before he grabbed my chin, turning my head to look at him.
“I don’t want anyone else but you. I don’t need to go that far. If I have too, I’ll wait forever until you’re ready again. I want you to be my first and I want to be your real first. Carl wasn’t your first.” Luke leaned in and gently kissed my lips. He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. I looked at him as a small smile graced my lips, causing him to smile as well.
“Deal.” I closed the gap between our lips as he placed his hands on either side of my face, deepening the kiss.
Three weeks later, Lance, Lyle, and I were sitting at our table in the cafeteria.
“Hey guys, where’s Luke?” I asked, looking at Lance and Lyle sitting across from me.
“Last time I saw him, he said that he had to get something from Mr. Store’s classroom.” Lyle replied, shrugging.
“Oh, ok. Should we go try to find him then? He might have gotten in trouble or something.” I stood up, waiting for their reply.
“Yeah, I guess so. Come on.” Lance stood up followed by Lyle. We walked out of the cafeteria towards Mr. Store’s class.
We walked down the hall and stopped outside of the classroom. I shrugged and opened the door before I stepped in. My heart stopped, my throat went dry, and my eyes burned at what I saw. Luke was standing at the desk with his back to the door as a girl sat on the desk in front of him. He was kissing her neck as her hands moved up and down his back; her head leaned back with her eyes closed as her legs wrapped around his.
“Hey Lee, is he in there?” Lyle asked from outside the door before he stepped in next to me. The two jumped and Luke turned around to look at us, shocked. He let go of the girl and pushed her off him before he took a step towards me.
“Lee.” He whispered, looking guilty and ashamed. I smiled sadly, which caused Lyle and Luke to look at me confused.
“It was just a matter of time before you found out that you needed someone to go that far. I hope that you’re happy now. I was right all along. No one would want to touch a disgusting creature like me. Carl was my first, my disgustingly sick perverted first.” I turned around and walked out of the classroom.
“Lee! Wait!” Luke called as I heard him getting closer to the door of the classroom.
“Lee, are you okay?” Lance asked, watching me as I walked past him. I stopped and put on my emotionless mask, erasing all emotions from my eyes, voice, and face as I turned to him.
“Fine.” I stated before I turned and walked to the cafeteria.
I sat down at our table and stared at the wall, blankly. A minute or two later, Lyle, Lance, and Luke sat down at the table with me.
“Hey, Luke, go away!” Lyle exclaimed, jumping up from his seat next to me.
“He doesn’t have to if he doesn’t want too. He’s still a part of our gang.” I stated, turning my empty eyes to look at Lyle.
“Lee…” I shook my head, cutting Lyle off as I turned back to the wall.
“Lee, can I explain please?” Luke asked from his position across from me. I turned to look at him, my eyes hollow and empty.
“Explain what? No need to explain to me.” I stared at him.
“Lee, don’t do this.” Luke got up and walked around the table to me, kneeling down next to me.
“Do what? I’m not doing anything. Now, if you excuse me I’m going to be late for class.” I stood up, grabbed my bag and walked out of the cafeteria.
For the next three and a half weeks, I walked around in zombie like trance. I barely ate and spoke. I kept my eyes empty and hollow, my face stayed emotionless and blank. I pulled farther away from the three guys, only seeing them at school or when they came over, which wasn’t very often. I spent most of my time sitting on my window seat, staring out the window at the sky. The other teens at school started to notice my distance and started to beat me up when I was alone. I never fought back, just stood there, letting them hit me. They seemed to enjoy it because they cornered me two times a day every day of the school week. The three don’t know about my little sessions with the football team, which were the teens beating me up. Lyle and Lance tried to get the old me to come back, but their attempts are in vain. I gave up on my music. I tore out that one song that I wrote the day Luke came over and stuffed it in his locker. Even Luke tried to get me back, but his attempts don’t work either. Today was Thursday; I was wearing a black tank top, black baggy jeans, and my combat boots with my hair down. I never wear it up anymore. I was walking towards the cafeteria when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me into an empty classroom. I looked up to see Luke, Lyle, and Lance staring at me with concern, hurt, guilt, and love in their eyes.
“What have you done to our Lee?” Luke asked, taking a small step towards me.
“She died.” I stated, staring blankly at them.
“Why?” Lyle asked, stepping up next to Luke.
“She was weak with emotions. She caused her own death by caring for him.” I pointed to Luke.
“What are you talking about?” Lance stepped up on the other side of Luke.
“She was too weak. She died the day Luke was in the classroom. She couldn’t take the pain anymore and died.” I blinked lazily as I stared at them.
“No! I know she’s in there! She would never leave us!” Luke yelled, grabbing my shoulders and shaking me, roughly.
“She’s gone, you sent her away. She was too weak.” I stood there, letting him shake me.
“No! You lie!” Luke yelled pushing me back slightly as a couple tears slipped down his face. Hurt flashed across my eyes before it was gone a second later. Lyle and Lance must have seen it because they smiled knowingly.
“I’m late for an appointment.” I turned on my heel and left the classroom, leaving the three to stare at the door in confusion.
As I walked towards the empty classroom where the football team meets me, I had a feeling that the three guys were following me. I shrugged and kept walking, they will find out eventually. I opened the door to the classroom and stepped in, causing the football team to face me. They smiled as they cracked their knuckles as they stalked towards me, one of them closing the door behind me. The quarterback got to me first, punching me in the jaw. After he got his punch in, the rest of the team came in for their share.
After about ten minutes of getting a beat down, I was on the floor while the team was kicking me. I heard the door open, causing the team to stop kicking and turn to the door.
“What are you doing?” I heard Lance yell. Well, it took them long enough to find out. I thought as I heard the other two enter as well.
“Get away from her!” Luke yelled, as I felt the team move from around me towards the three at the door.
“What are you losers doing here? This is a private session.” I heard the captain of the team shout.
“How long has this been going on?” Lyle asked, angrily.
“Almost three weeks. Now get out of here, you stupid bitches!” One of the players shouted. My eyes snapped open when I heard this and I looked at all of them.
“Not without her! Don’t touch her again!” Luke punched the captain.
“We’ll do what we damn well please, you stupid bastards!” Another player said stepping up to the three guys. I slowly rose from my position on the floor, keeping my head down, causing everyone in the room to look at me.
“Don’t. Insult. My. Friends.” I said dangerously as I raised my head to look at the football players. My eyes held a flicker of anger, but otherwise I was still emotionless and blank. Their faces paled slightly before they rushed out of the room. Luke, Lyle, and Lance stared at me in shock. My eyes drooped and I blinked lazily a couple times before I shook my head. My eyes were back to being hollow and empty as I looked at the three.
“Wishful thinking.” Lance muttered sadly, as they turned and we walked out of the classroom.
The next day, I was wearing a black shirt, black jeans, and my boots with my hair down. The four of us were walking towards the cafeteria when we heard crying coming from the bathrooms. The three turned to me, silently telling me to check it out since it was in the girls’ bathroom. I shrugged and walked in, immediately I saw Dawn huddled in the corner, sobbing. A senior was standing over her, yelling. I let the door slam close, causing the senior to turn around to face me. He was about four inches taller than me with a muscled build. He had red hair with grayish green eyes; he was wearing a red shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. Dawn looked up at me with relief in her eyes. She was wearing a plain light blue blouse with tan cargo pants and boots. She had a black eye and busted lip. I turned my attention back to the dude standing in front of her, my eyes burning bright with emotions again as I clenched my fists at my side.
“What do you want? We’re busy.” He said, annoyed as he glared at me.
“Step away from her, now.” I hissed as I took a step towards him.
“Make me.” He sneered, crossing his arms across his chest.
“I will.” I walked up to him, grabbed the front of his shirt and threw him in stalls next to him. He scrambled up with some difficulty before he limped towards the door. I ran up to him, grabbed the back of his shirt and pushed him forwards, slamming his head against the wall behind the door. I opened the door, grabbed his shirt again, and threw him out the bathroom. He went flying into the middle of the hallway. I stepped out of the bathrooms and slowly walked up to him. I kicked him in the gut before I turned around to face the bathrooms again. Luke, Lyle, and Lance were off to the side watching me. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a hair tie. I reached up and put my hair in a high ponytail before I walked back into the bathrooms.
Dawn and I walked out of the bathrooms three minutes later; I cleaned her up before we came out. The three guys rushed up to us and stared at me.
“Stop staring, idiots.” I snapped with a small smile as I rolled my eyes.
“Yes! You’re back!” They exclaimed in unison before they jumped on me, hugging me to a point where I could not breathe.
“Can’t breath!” I choked out, pushing them off me.
“Sorry!” They said, still smiling as they stepped back.
“Thanks Lalee.” Dawn said before she hugged me and walked away.
“What are sisters for?” I called after her; she turned and flashed a smile before continuing on her way.
“You are back, right?” Luke asked, hopefully.
“Of course I’m back, stupid. Now, let’s go I’m starving and I want to see you, Luke, at my mansion at eight tonight. You have a lot of explaining to do.” I shot a glare at him before he threw his arms around me, hugging me.
“I will be there!” He let go and we walked to the cafeteria.
At 7:30pm, I heard the doorbell ring, but did not get up to answer it. I was standing by my window seat, staring out the window. I was in my white tank top and daisy dukes with my hair up in a high ponytail. A few minutes later, I heard the door open.
“Miss, Mr. Luke is here to see you.” Walter said, bowing to me.
“Walter, what have I told you about that?” I asked, turning around to face him with a smile.
“To call you Lee or Lalee and call your friends by their names as well.” He replied, smiling as well.
“And?” I raised my eyebrow, grinning.
“Never bow.” He sighed.
“Alright, then you can send him up. Also, no one is to bother us or come down this hallway unless an absolute emergency. Thank you, Walty.” I nodded to him and grinned.
“Of course, Lalee.” He nodded and walked out the door. I turned back to face the window.
Once again, I heard the door open and close before I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned around to see Luke ten feet away from me.
“Sit.” I nodded to the bed.
“Right.” He went over and sat on the edge of the bed, still looking at me. I sat down on the window seat, staring at the ground, thinking about what I had planned.
“Why?” I asked, looking at him.
“Honestly, I don’t know. One minute we were talking and the next minute she was sitting on the desk and I was kissing her. I don’t know why I did it. I never meant too.” Luke explained, looking at the ground. I stood up, walked over to him, and sat down next to him.
“Will it ever happen again?” I grabbed his chin and turned his head to face me.
“Never. I won’t let it. I’m really sorry. I never wanted to hurt you like that. Please, believe me.” Luke reached up and cupped my cheek, rubbing his thumb across it.
“I want to forgive you, to believe you, but I don’t know if I can.” I closed my eyes and leaned into his touch.
“How can I get you to believe me?” Luke leaned in a little closer, so that I could feel his breath on my lips.
“Like this.” I opened my eyes and moved so that I was straddling his lap. He looked at me a little confused. I smiled and leaned down, kissing him. I placed my hands on either side of his face as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. After a moment, we pulled apart and fell back on the bed. I moved to lie on my side next to him with his arms around me and my arm lying across his stomach.
“Promise me that I’m the only girl you’ll kiss.” I looked up at him; my head was on his chest.
“I promise.” He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
“What am I to you?” I moved my head to lie back down on his chest. He moved to lie on his side as I moved to lie on my back, still keeping his arms around me as he looked into my eyes.
“You’re my whole world, my reason for living. My one and only love, the other half of me. You’re my moon and stars, my light when it gets dark. When my world comes crashing down, you’re the only one to pick me up. You’re my angel sent from above to answer my prayers. You’re my everything.” He smiled and squeezed me gently. I leaned up and kissed him.
In the years following Luke and Lee’s graduation, their band was featured on a popular music channel. They were as popular as they come, with platinum albums and such; they had hit singles and their own tour. They had their big break at a hot local club’s talent night. Soon after, Luke proposed to Lee after one of their concerts. Right on Television, it was a shock. Of course, Lee accepted and after the tour ended, they got married. It was a small wedding, just friends and family. Luke had moved in with Lee two months after their wedding, when they got back from their honeymoon. Once their careers took off in the music business, Lee told her parents to shove off. Now, they have no contact and Lee pays the bills with the help of Luke. Three months later, Lyle and Lance had moved into the mansion with the new couple. They help pay the bills as well. All four of them live in huge mansion together since they are on the road a lot. Finally, three years after Luke and Lee’s marriage, they had their first child. They named her Angela Lilith, after Luke’s grandmother. They went on to have three more children. They stayed happy until the very end. The two had died in their sleep within a month of each other. Soon after, Lyle followed and then Lance. They never did get married, but had many girlfriends.

I'm bored and that's probably the only reason why I write in here.
