Yesterday I spent my afternoon on deviant art looking through the shop and at the AMAZING prints. Oh my GOD! They are FANTASTIC! They make me wish I could draw. gonk I really wish I could. crying When I get a house of my own, I'm totally decorating the house with art from DA! xd

James called me last night as he walked to work. heart

I'm reading Kathleen's copy of The Golden Compass and it's really good. I like it!

I got a 100% on a reader response essay about Simon's death in Lord of the Flies and a 98% on my 90-minute essay on the book concerning the effect of the feast scenes. Apparently a question like that often comes up on the AP tests, so I'm happy I did so well.

I went home with Hope and Tegan today so we could go shopping for Christmas presents. It was great. We know what we got each other...because we were all there. xd Except Tegan doesn't know what I got her because Hope distracted her. But Hope gave me two books she wanted and I bought them for her. Then we went to Suncoast and I found a little Piplup plushie and I freaked out in happiness. So she got it for me. (I'm such a loser. I still LOVE Pokemon. rofl And then I talked to some random guy in the store about how Piplup is freaking amazing. AND SO CUUUUTE. blaugh ) Then Tegan found a "The Office" poster, and she got it for me. mrgreen I also found stuff Kiri would like. And I got my dad his present (but I didn't see anything my mom would like--it's way too hard to shop for her >.< wink . It's an "Office Space" kit. It has the red stapler! surprised And lots of other hilarious things.

And I got the person I'm Secret Santa for at work her present. It's a snowman made of white chocolate and it looks really good. 3nodding

Hmmm...now I have to figure out what to get Kathleen and my mom...

Hope, Tegan, and I went to the middle school winter concert. The 6th graders were pretty bad. >_> But Alyssa and the rest of the 8th graders weren't bad. Two songs were really good. The Jewish one was kind of bad because some of the people would suddenly go sharp. It hurt my ears. >.< But Alyssa had a solo and she didn't screw up, so that's good. 3nodding xd
