I stood on the edge of lake Michigan, the waves lapping agains my toes. I am completely elated. I am home alone for two weeks in the summer while my parents are on vacation in New Jersey, and the only catch was that I had to call and check in every thursday with Angela's mom and my grandfather comes in every sunday. Many 14-year-olds would kill for this chance.
