Approached by a member of the Kuro, J is asked to assist the elves in fighting off Ambrosia and her vampires.
He agrees only to stand against the vampires and nothing else, wanting no other part in whatever the Kuro were up to.
He proves quite useful in the battle as one of the strongest attackers, killing a countless number of vampires aiding the Kuro in their victory. His status as a hunter is elevated and a powerful message is sent throughout the vampire underworld.
