A genuinely good (though incredibly ashy) day.
What a Sunday this was. I haven't had a day this good for months. It feels lovely. Yes I'm in a literate mood. Quite.

Actually, I did start out the day with small amounts of frustration. After I woke up at around noon-ish (the usual wake-up time during weekends) to a bright and sunny morning, I realized that I need to find a ride to my violin/viola lesson.

BernL was working, and Timmy was sick so I couldn't hitch a ride with him. The night before, my mother agreed to get out of work and drop me off at Anacapa at 2pm. But then Mommie (Butterbean) left me a message asking me to come at 1pm to play cello duets and stuff, because apparently there was a 1 o'clock cancellation as well. How cool, I get to play music all day! I thought to myself. It was safe to say I was rather delighted, seeing as how playing music is one of my favorite things to do.

So I called my mother and asked her if she could possibly get out of work earlier to drop me off at 1 instead of 2. She didn't pick up, so Mommie and I agreed to have my lesson at my house. This was new...but hey, I like new things. Although this situation was particularly awkward because I didn't have my chores done at that moment and the house looked like crap. One thing I hate a lot is being embarassed when people come over when the house looks like royal chicken crap. So I got my chores done quickly, and was ready within 15-30 minutes. The house looks spectacular at the moment; my parents are very pleased . Anyways...

She came over, and the whole house was clean, but orange from the ashy weather. Ever since she came in, it became darker and darker until it was almost a deep red color. The fire was obviously...well...big. It basically looked like 7pm in my house when it was around 2 o'clockish in the afternoon, and the sun looked like a glowing pumpkin. My lesson was, well, a bit frustrating, because I was partially sick from the weather, plus the violin that I borrowed from school sounds like royal chicken crap (I seem to have a strange attachment to that expression ). The bridge wasn't even set up right. Oh well, there was this other violin that I liked at Buena. I might go back and switch it and see if that one is better.

[I think my intonation is slightly better on viola, mostly because I was using Nolan's viola, which is a much better instrument than the violin. Maybe I might end up ultimately better on viola than violin, although I would suspect it would upset my sister, who plays viola as her primary instrument.]

So after my official lesson, I had to find some nourishments (i.e. food and LOTS of water) and then we played violin/viola duets and stuff. I also told her some funny homecoming stories (Trevor and the dumpster), and she shared with me a funny Jloo story lol. Soon after we swapped stories she had to leave for Anacapa to give Kevin's mom a cello lesson. So she seemingly was rid of me. But she wasn't yet. Muahahahaha...

I called BernL (he got out of work early) and he took me to his house to show me his boat. We might go boating on Thursday, with Darianne as well. Then I wanted to watch Nolan's lesson so I could bug him, and so I could take his viola home when he was done. So BernL took me to Anacapa, I said hello to Kevin's mom, and I walked in and greeted both Nolan and Mommie with an evil grin . As a matter of fact, not only did I get to sit there and stare intently at him while he was having his lesson, I got to help him by keeping his elbow straight while he was playing! That was a lot of fun, I got to keep him in line with his ugly elbow habits . It bugged the crap out of him, and that made it seem like the best job ever . Nolan is a funny boy! lol.

As soon as Nolan's lesson was over, I told him the story about Trevor and the dumpster, and it made him laugh! Although he laughs at pretty much everything I do and say, and I'm 2 years older than him. It's just our weird friendship, I suppose. I asked if he got the picture I sent him of both of us, and he said "yeah but I didn't like it" so I'm like "aww come on it's so cute" and he's like "noooo I don't like it" and I'm like "I think our picture together is cute!" and that was precisely when his mom walked in. So his mom said "ooh you guys have a picture together? I wanna see!" and Nolan's like "NO!!!" and I'm like "yeah okay I'll send it to you" and she's like "okay here's my email address" and Nolan's like "Noooo your email address is never getting to her" and she's like "oh well Ms. Hoover has my email address" and Ms. Hoover was like "yeah yeah I have it, I'll give it to you" and Nolan was like "nooooo....I hate you all...Mom please just write the check" and in the meantime I had just about died laughing.

So BernL and I went to the mall for dinner, and then we went to pick up Darianne in Camarillo for some random fun. We ventured off to Marble Slab for some iiiiiice cream. While we were there, we had some fun with my camera...hehe. "KELVINATOR!!!"

After our marvelous Marble Slab mini-party, we visited our old favorite Camarillo park for some playground fun. 'Twas awesome to be able to feel like a kid again. I would post the pics, but the majority of them have about 1-2 inches of my beautiful white Victoria Secret underwear showing. Darn! Maybe I will post pictures next time, hopefully ones not so...PG.

As it was nearing Darianne's curfew time, we decided to go to Darianne's house and watch TV. We watched Ninja Warrior. "THONG POWER!!!" haha. Then we watched a little of Scooby Doo until it was nearing my curfew time. We all said our goodbyes and BernL took me home, and that's where I am right at this moment, relaying in a blog about my eventful day.
