Ok, ok, so check it out:
Me and my friend, Leftover Slaughter, went to see the Naruto movie, right?
Omg it was sooooo awesome!! =3333
Yeah, the movie itself was pretty good, the awesome fight scenes, the overall theme of never give up and all that good stuff, but you know what really got me? The people watching. ;D That's right, you all, you out there, reading this right now.
It was like so cool, everyone had their ninja headbands (except me, cause i don't have one >.> wink and there was this one guy in full Kankuro cosplay with a Krow puppet, and there was girl in Sasuke's outfit from Shippuden, and another one in a full orange jumpsuit, and this other guy had Gaara's voice down to a tee, they were awesome. @_@
So yeah, IF YOU SAW THE NARUTO MOVIE IN SALISBURY PM ME FOR SURE!! =D
So yeah, after the movie me and my mom and Slaughter got to talking, and we almost got my mom convinced to take me to Otakon!! We got it all figured out, my sister was going down that way for a camp that weekend, so we were gonna stay with relatives in Baltimore, I was gonna dress as Kurama, and it was gonna the best weekend ever! I mean, we just went to a Naruto movie, and it was like totally awesome, so a whole weekend at Otakon would be like heaven on earth, right?
Well, according to my dad, wrong. >.>
He's says conventions are for, to put it bluntly, losers. Especially the ones who dress up, they're really losers. So I told him I was one of those losers who wanted to dress up, and he was like "for $60? so basically your paying $60 for the right to dress like an idiot and buy expensive crappy s**t."
So now, I dunno what I'm gonna do. My mom's all for me having a good time and stuff, but my dad's like absolutely not. =/
So, now what? D=
