Konichiwa minna...
I'd like to open this entry by telling you that I'm not feeling very well,
which is probably do to the fact that I heven't slept in 2 days gonk
I hate insomnia; Insomnia does strange and unpleasent things to one's mind, and my mind can do strange and unpleasent things to its self on its own; It doesn't need any help thank you!
I may need to get checked out at the clinic.
Though if I go in with that line of thinking a check-up could be turned in to a full scale psychological evaluation...
Well Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy comes out April 29th!
Yay-ish-mous-ness!!!
One of my only (there are more mind you) qualms with the film is them changeing 'hyper-space bypass' to 'intergalactic highway'.
I understand the fact that most people from Nortn America may not quite get the british terminology used in the book but I also think that 'hyperspace bypass' sounds so much better.
Besides who is HollyWood to dictate what we can and can not understand?
Some of the more apparent changes like that have me a bit annoyed.
I believe that Douglas Adams may have made a few of the larger changes himself as he was working on a screenplay for the movie when he died a few years ago, but that is something I will have to look into.
I still of course want to see it hough, if it's bad then we will just Mystery Science Theater the hell out of it for the second half...
..then again we got kicked out of the theater when we did that at the american version of 'Ringu'(it didn't hold a candle to it's originator)
But I do suggest if you plan to see this movie to read the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy of Four (actually five now but the fifth book isn't quite as brilliant) by Douglas Adams before hand.
It will be in stock at any chain-bookstore I've found and most libraries blaugh
