Got hacked on approximately August 29, 2015 at 6:00 pm PST and my account was accessed again on September 10, 2015 at 6:00 pm PST. I logged onto my account on October 1, 2015.
I have not been online since spring due to busy life.
Several of my items have been put on the marketplace and sold.
There was also a trade that I did not initiate or accept to someone I do not know.
I do not know if any other items/Gaia gold have been lost. I have too many items and it has been a while since I've been online. I only noticed something was wrong when I came online and received PMs of completed and failed transactions. I have submitted a report(#18948241) and changed my password since.
This has been incredibly frustrating as I've been playing since 2005. I've supported Gaia in its earlier years with Gaia cash and merchandise. One of the items lost, the Ancient Katana, was given to me by my best friend before she quit the game in maybe 2006 or 2007. My twin xYiJunx saved up to buy the Trick or Treat tote for me by drawing a lot of avi art. I've been trying to collect Gaia gold when possible to deal with the insane inflation over the years. Getting 116 billion and some of my treasured items stolen is quite a bitter pill to swallow. The account that the Gaia gold was traded to was probably hacked as well, since the last posts were in 2008 and 2009. I'm not sure how I was hacked, since I have not clicked any links related to Gaia or posted anything since January.
Once I get a response from the ticket I sent, if I do not get my items back, I plan to PM the buyers and offer them what they spent and extra, gold or art, to try and get my items back. Any help would be appreciated.
