...Dancing in the desert, blowing up the sunshine.

Hi again everyone! This weekend was probally the most exciting weekend I've had in... A very very long time. It was crazy, and I am sore as heck, but it was so super wonderful.

So, as every weekend has began since the begining, it was Friday. My bestest bud Kayla had her sixteenth birthday bash, and it was quite the blowout. There was about 20 people there and our super awsome friend Keenan had his band play. They are quite the group. I think they consider themselves metal, but then they break out in the Oompa Loompa song or Dylan's ears (a happy, jumpy, nonsence song about a boy's giant ears) and I am not so sure what they are really.

We went nuts and were EVERYWHERE. Jumping around here, people chasing me and tickling me do death every two seconds, slapping on batman masks, playing video games, solving life problems, climbing on the roof. You know, basically reverting to the age of two, but with hormones. To sum it up, it was one of the greatest, and most chaotic, experiences I have ever had.

Saturday usually follows Friday, and this weekend was no different. We went to this little get together our community has for teens called Fusion. It was kinda boring and all I did was kick everyones arse at pool. At about 9, Kayla, Erika (she's another friend who is moving to VA Beach in about 2 weeks or less), and I went to this little coffee shop, where Keenan's band was playing. We are groupies, what can I say, he needs some. So there were a bunch of kids from our high school there, including Avery. Now Avery is just this boy with the prettiest hair EVER. Erika, Ashley (a thirteenthousand personality girl) and I all think he is superfine, but that's besides the point.

This big group starts moshing in front of us, and we kinda get slung into it. It was kinda a save your limbs or they will be removed ordeal. But we got outta there pretty quickly. Kayla and I stood back a bit ferther now, and Erika and Karene (Kayla's cousin who Keenan has a crush on razz ) jumped right in for a bit, like it was nothing. When they were done playing we stood outside until about 11:30, at which point we walked down to McDonalds only to find it closed aside from the drivethrough. We debated walking through the drive through, before just deciding to call our rides.

It was a crazy weekend, ending with Kayla, Erika and I showing off our great bods at the pool today. Haha, well we don't have that great of bodies really, but its fun to think we do. This weekend was the first time I'd had fun in a long time with all the drama in my family and I felt like a teenager for the first time in my life. Being independant and having crazy fun for three days strait. Unfortunatly, I was brought back to reality today with more drama and I realise I have to be 30 years old again. Which is a jump from what I should be at 16. Oh well... Cest la vie I guess.
