Overall History (for this character is deeply entwined with others): A former god, Drake is now just a fragment of his previous self. His body was sealed (encased in ice) lifetimes ago by his twin brother, Christian, who was a god just like him. Cast into an eternal slumber, Drake fell and his soul was wrenched apart in two, having no real power. The shattered soul landed in an obscure dimension and was left undisturbed as the world grew and evolved around it. Centuries later, as civilizations became more advanced, scientists on a mission to attain power by creating the perfect army of invincible hybrids stumbled across both his and Christian's DNA (their fragmented souls) and used them to animate two sets of twins: Drake and Andrew, and Christian and Daniel. The gods were reborn; however they were now split each in two. They were four out of thirteen hybrids that would make up a clan. Months passed, the experiment succeeded, and all thirteen beings were created and animated within a year of the discovery of Drake's and Christian's DNA. However, things went awry for the scientists as Drake and his new clan rebelled against their creators, escaping from the facilities, leaving death and destruction in their wake as they scourged the countryside in an effort to leave the world into which they were born. They ended up on a few different worlds before finally settling on Earth. Things fell into a natural order and Drake was made alpha, as had originally been planned by the scientists. As time progressed, Drake, as well as Christian, forgot their godly natures, and the souls that had once coordinated both bodies they possessed as one, began to direct them as two entire different entities. They assumed different personas, still linked however, by what they assumed to be a twin's bond. Both Christian and Drake forgot that they had at one point, been brothers. Though in nature Drake and his clan are immortal, they discovered that if they willed it, they would eventually die, only to be reborn again as an infant who would later grow up to transform again to the experimental hybrid. They skirted around the idea for a while, but they eventually accepted it and one by one, they separated until they would together be reborn and reunited as a clan. Lifetimes passed, but a few members were always missing. Only now have all the members been born, and now Drake is trying to find them all, for they have scattered over the world in their endless rebirth.

Personal History (Drake's current lifetime): Drake was born into a family of humans, composed of a mother, a father, and a younger brother, born a couple of years after Drake. They lived happily in a two story house in the suburbs for a few years before tragedy struck. At the tender age of five, Drake's father was brutally stabbed to death on his way home from a business trip. This was a major blow to the family, and the mother drowned her sorrows with alcohol for a couple of years before finally sobering up when she realized she could not raise her children that way. Trying to pull herself together, she dated for a few months before finally settling with someone she thought was "perfect", bringing him along with his son to live with her. She had fallen in love with him and they arranged a wedding for the following year. Drake never trusted him, and his fears were confirmed a few weeks after the wedding. The man his mother called her "husband" was very abusive, though not of her. He had wooed her for her money. He treated her kindly, but was very controlling, but he was physically abusive of Drake and Micheal, his brother. They endured it however, for she seemed happy with him, and they didn't want to take that away from her; plus, he threatened them into submission. However, Drake became very protective of Micheal, taking his blows for him. The day came, though, when he had finally had enough; he went insane (this is the moment that Zev really emerged) and came at his step-father with a kitchen knife, intending to kill him. He managed to stab him several times before being hauled away to a mental institution, where he stayed from ages 8 to 14. His step-father, unfortunately, survived, but freaking out about the whole attempted murder, he backed off from abusing them, and his own son. A year after Drake had been released, he came in contact with certain people, mainly Andrew Drake Whittaker, which triggered his transformation into his hybrid self. His parents died in a car accident that year and he came into the inheritance of a mansion through his mother. He's currently living there with other members of his clan that he has found; though others live in separate houses that he has bought for them. Drake now goes through the motions of life though they now hold no real meaning to him.
