Chapter One: The party of seperation
“Why must you instist on putting on these plays with the humans father!” I was angry with my father because once again he had set up a party with the creatures of which I despised. I just didn’t get it! My father sigh and looked at me in exassperation,
“Tsuki, my dearest daughter we must keep the humans within our sight besides you have to get over you aversion to them, this hatred cannot keep going on you have to face them. After you’re going to be inheirten the throne after me so you need to grow up a little!” My father said harshly before walking away. I glared after him, as much as I loved my father it seemed that he always used the throne as a excuse for making me do things know that I couldn’t play against it. I started back to my room in a temperment of fury, the pathtic humans looking after me like they had been struck my lightning. I sighed but couldn’t blame them for that, I was beautiful even for a demon my long dark red hair fell in crimison waves down my back, contrasting with my moccah skin, I wore a silvery dress that folded out making the curves of my body and bringing out the brillence of silver in my white-silver eyes. I walked into my room still pouting, I mean just cause my dad just so happened to be Satan and the ruler of the Netherworld and I just so happen to be his only heir to the throne, doesn’t mean he could always push in my face. I sat there for a while thinking about my home back in the Netherworld and all my friends back there, Im sure Choas was bored there at the castle all by himself. I laughed to myslef at the thought of him straunting around the castle yelling at everybody he could fine. However my good mood was quickly disturbed by a knock on the door.
“Miss Dawn, your father has told me to come and fetch so you may go to the party together” a young servent boy called out from behind the door nervously. I sighed once again and headed to the door grudgingly thanking the severnt and headed to my fathers room. He smiled weakly at me sensing the anger in my aura but I ignored him him and started walking toward the door and my father trailed along besides me. When we reached the coach I stopped took and deep breath, locking up my feelings and stepped inside the coach.


We were among the last to arrive at the party, as usual as we headed up the long winding road to our villa estate on the outskrits of London city. As we steped inside the ancient buliding the smell of roses and VINILLA hit my nose and I felt myself relax a little as I felt all the eyes in the room turn to look at us.
“Mr.Lucifer Nightn’tale and his daughter Ms. Dawn Nightn’tale” an annoucer voices as we crossed the threshold, I tensed immedatly at hearing the human names that we had aranged for are selvs. My father practiclly dragged me into the room we entered the throng of people, and person after person came over to talk to my father with sickning politiness that I knew was fake, until finally I couldnt take it anymore the anger in my soul churling unpleasantly in my stomach, I left and worked my way through the crowd trying not to touch anybody in the proccess. Finally I found my self alone on the balcony and I felt the cool winds of night sweep through me and I leaned against the railing enjoying the wind on my back and the feel of the moon on soaking through me. This was the only good thing about this world the crisp winds and stunning moon of night, rather then the endless twilight of the Netherworlds. I stood there soaking them in trying to ignore the senseless batter of the mundane humans, it was then that I opened my eyes as I sensed a powerful aura that I hadent registard to any of the humans at the party. What my eyes saw before me was a young human around his early twenty’s also leaning on the wall across from me looking soulfully at the moon. He was remarkable handsom for a simple human male, he had long blood red hair similar t mine but brighter like fire, and creamy pale skin, he stood there with his eyes glowing fiery in the moonlight, and his hair in a ponytail trailing along his spine. I continued to look at him intently until he noticed me and brought he’s eyes to mine, I looked away shyly and cursed mysel. “I shouldn’t be caught staring like that at a human and then look away in shame like that what am I doing” I scolded myself and looked up at him surpraised to feel amusement and icey rage not directed towards me, but to the humans in the other room. I opened my mouth to say something before realzing I had nothing to say to him and closed it, he smirked which made me wanna puch him but before I could get the chance he started talking,
“Well, well whats a beatiful lady like yourself doing outside in the cold instead of inside partying?” He asked me his voice deep and quite sending ripples down my spine. I look at him again this time in curousity, here he was talking to me completely calm and practiclly mockingly, when he seemed to be feelling so choatic inside. This human was intresting so I decided to hold of on the anger of his treatment and play along.
“Well I could say the same to you, it just so happens that company of that type tends to make me ill so I was outside cooling off, but if I may what gets you into the crisp cold of a winter night?” I asked him my voice sounding like poisened honey sweet and dangerous and intoxicated, I could sense the desire it put into the young human and enjoyed watching him squirm around a little before answering.
“My name is Elric, Im the unwanted party crasher,” he said with a bitter smile on his face, “and who might you be milady?”. I glared at the mockery in his voice and considered leaving but decided that he was better than being in the mass of humans.
“My name is..Dawn, Dawn Night’tale” I said quietly. His face for the first time betraying a surpraised look of confusion. This time it was my turn to smile bitterly at him and he looked away as if somehow shamed of his feelings.
“So it was you father Lucifer who set this whole gig up huh, well I have to admit it’s acually not a bad part for a boring get together or aristicarts” he laughed as he talked showing a geniune smile this time, I looked in wonder as much as this human seemed to annoy me he was definitly beautiful for a human espically when he smile. Part of me wondered what he would like when he cried his face twisted in pain, and I smiled, (What I am a demon after all you know, its only natural for me to have a sadist streak). After that it seems he grew comfortable around me, something new for humans were usually much to nervous to be any where near comfortable near me, but even more surpraising was that I to got used to him, and we spent the rest of the party talking about mundane things like the night and moon, such things as those. It was only when my father came up to get me that I realized that I had been laughing and talking just as much as the human, Elric had. My father looked at seemingly very surpraised at seeing me so obvously comfortable with a human being. He almost looked regretful informing me that we were leaving, but me slightly scared at the what was happening with me lept to the opportunity to leave, ushering a quiet goodbye to Elric before rushing off to the carage. Once insaid I looked over and I could see Elric standing there with a sort of bewildered look on his face. I almost felt bad for just running away like that but it was a easy feeling to push away. Along the way home I noticed my father looking at me strangly. The whole rest of our stay in the human world my father stayed locked up in his room and lost in thought. As it came to return to home, I waited for my father for over an hour before I saw I severnt come towards me with a letter written from my father,
“My dearest daughter,
Tsuki Im sorry I could not come to tell you this in person however Im afraid that Im very busy and cannot, I have to tell you that I have some buissness I want to conclude here in human world and so I would like you to go ahead home without me, please tell your mother that I should be back within a week
Your Beloved Father,
Satan”
I stared at it incredously, not evening daring to believe it, my father had never done this before, and while I understood that techniqly it wasn’t that big of a deal it was still much out of character for my father which made me wonder just what kind of buissnes he had to take of?
However having nothing else to do I opened up a rift in the dimesions to travel back home. When I got there all of my friends were there, Sky and Cloud, Starr, Ryou and Choas who looked about ready to cry when he say me, my mother Tsukiyomi was there as well. When I showed them the letter my father had left me none of them seemed that concered, only my mother seemed to show the same concern for it as I did however when I tried to ask her about all she would say was,
“Tsuki dearest, you father surely as he reasons and we shall simply have to ask him about it when he returns” It was driving me crazy! However a week past and I sensend a rift being opened up and ran outside to see my father standing there his red hair glinting in the twilight and his silver eyes tired looking, I ran up and practiclly tackled him. He looked at me in surpraised in laughter. I looked at him reprochfuly and he laughed again.
“Tsuki, Im sorry but its just your already in your 500th year you shouldn’t be doing stuff like that anymore haha” he said almost dumbling over and I glared at him and punched him in the arm.
“I was worried about you, its not like you to be like that! Just what were you doing with those humans.” I said the last word scathingly. My father then suddeningly stop laughing and looked at me sadly. I stoped glaring at the ground to look at him worried about his sudden change in mood. He started to open his mouth to say something but changed his mind and closed it again a pained look on his face.
“Tsuki I have something I want to talk to you about, but I don’t want to talk about it now so we’ll save it for tomorrow and tonight we celbrate are family being together again ok!” He said to me with a look on his face I couldn’t understand. I was scared of what tomorrow would bring however I didn’t know why. The night came and we had a huge party and for a while I forgot my worries and concentrated on having as much fun as I could! However as morning came and I hear my father summon me to the throne room I rembered my anxieties. I walked slowly to the throne room as if that would make all the bad thoughts go away. When I entred the room I saw my father and mother sitting on the seats of the throne and my anxiety shot up, they were never like that! My father looked at me sadly and then aprutly his look turned hard.
“Tsuki, I have livied with you aversion to human society for the past 500 years and not done a thing asuming there was nothing to change it. However it has now come to my attention that there is yet hope for you to still change.” His voice at first boomed around the room however at the end it trailed down to a soft whisper and he’s eyes grew soft once more.
“Tsuki you are my daughter and I want the very best for you I want you to rember that, I know that you will hate me for a long time but I hope the one day you shall understand” he was still talking in a gentle whisper. However his words were sending a shiver down my spine. It was then that I smelled the begning of a rift being opened and look at my father as comrehension and horror dawned on me.
“You are hearby temperarly exiled to the human world, until you learn to accept and work together with the humans!” My fathers voice grew loud once again my mother looked away her face wet with tears, and I looked at them both not beleiving until I felt the rift opening under my feet and felt myself falling through.
“NO! MOTHER, FATHER YOU CANNOT DO THIS PLEASE!!” I screamed at them as I fell but I only saw my father turned his head and then I fell into the darkness inbetween dimensions. Later I awoke on a street in world of the humans trapped and all alone, no longer with any place to go.
