Damn you SEGA!
You ruined the Golden Axe franchise! Golden Axe: Beast Rider isn't Golden Axe except for the setting. It's just God of War plus Heavenly Sword plus mediocre. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad game. It just isn't Golden Axe. Its the same failing in my eyes of Fallout 3. F3 isn't a bad game (in fact it is quite good) but it isn't Fallout. It's Oblivion plus VATS plus nukes plus guns.

I'm losing my faith in the gaming industry.

So I guess I was wrong...
All that bitching and whining I did apparently worked. I finally got by Xbox 360 working with XBL. I'm happy.

Xbox woes!
I love my Xbox 360, but I'd love it even more if it would actually connect to Xbox Live. So, I use an Arris TM402P/110 modem and the Xbox kind of works with that. It can verify my IP (only if I manually put it in, never on automatic). But it won't verify my DNS server settings. It goes straight to "Failed" if I have the setting on automatic and it takes about 5 seconds if I put in any combination of my settings manually. I have a friend in the military (not tech savvy, really) just plug in his 360 and it works like a charm. Then again, he is surrounded by other people with 360 and PS3 and laptops. Internet isn't a problem there. But apparently it is here. So I put on my Linksys wireless router (which I don't need anymore since my laptop died) and split the connection that way. Everything goes straight to failed right away.

Worse is the tech support I am getting. Microsoft says it's Comcast's problem for giving me "invalid DNS settings" which is impossible since I'm on the internet doing it that way. Anyways, I call Comcast and ask them directly for my DNS settings and they give me the same ones that "ipconfig /all" gives me in command prompt. For some reason, I have three DNS servers. WTF? Srsly? They tell me it's Microsoft's fault for bad hardware.

ARGH!
